What a time to be alive, I am the most happiest person on earth today. Waoo! My joy have no boundaries.
It's a new year for me. All glory belongs to God for giving me another chance to see a new year on earth, I never thought I would see another year today, but God's love never fail.
I am also thankful for the people around me, family, friends and colleagues and the entire hive community for all the love I've received in one way or the other. I am grateful!
It's been a rough journey of survival, but I have overcome, I'm strong, healthy, happier and alive today.
It been over 2 years I left my job as an Estate Facility Manager due to health challenges which started late 2018.
It all started in September 2018, when I started feeling numbness, tingling sensation on both legs, blurred vision with severe headache. All these did not started at once, so I taught it was a minor thing, thinking stress might be the cause.
I went to consult my doctor for examination and treatment, nothing worried was found from the diagnosis, so I was treated for pain and malaria because I tested positive for malaria then.
I felt relieved for a few months. After Christmas and New year break, I resumed to my office, the second week of January 2019, the challenges make a return in an awful way.
This time which change all the story, suddenly, I was breathing fast, couldn't work with my left leg, feeling shock in part of my body, severe headache on the left part of my head, coupled with blurred vision again, loss of memory, fatigue. It was a tough experience I never pray for even my enemies.
I was rushed to company hospital in Lagos, where series of MRI scan was done on me, but to my surprise when the result came out, according to the result and doctor, they said everything was fine and nothing life threatening. Later, when I was getting worst, I was transferred to a Specialist Hospital Igbobi for further examination and treatments. With all the treatment by health professionals; neurologist, physiotherapist, among others, my condition was still getting worse day by day, I was placed on series of heavy drugs to manage the pain and for me to be able to sleep. Later, the drugs stopped working.
I kept praying to God to give me another chance to live.
I had surrendered to my faith, because I could not bear the pain anymore, but I kept on believing what God cannot do does not exist. I stopped using medication , couple of months after I stopped taking medication around February 2021, my health condition started changing positively. June 2021 all health issue had vanished to the glory God.
I have a reason to celebrate today for another gift of life. I will always be thankful to God for healing me. and my thanks goes to family and friends for their love and supports.
