Day 349

I'm so proud of today's harvest! I got so many vegetables that I had to share a part with my neighbors!
I love fresh fruits and vegetables.

Here are the aubergines. I got a whole bag of aubergines out of my 3 plants. I shared more than half of these with neighbors because I also do have other vegetables. Ans if I wouldn't share, the vegetables will rotten and that is a waste!

Tayerblad! This is tayerblad, a well-known leaf-vegetable in the Surinamese kitchen. I am not a fan of the flavor of this green, but I do love farming it.

Spinach! My all time favorite green. I also love farming these but they are a little harder to farm than the tayerblad.

And my all time number 1 is pepper. I do love all sorts of peppers. I do have my favorites, but I love them all

Wow! You have a vegetable garden. That sounds amazing. I struggle with my container garden at the moment and I'm just growing mostly ornamental plants. I'd love to have more flowers in the garden though. Living in the city has its limitation esp when it comes to planting. I believe it is important these days to have one's own vegetable garden. At least that helps guarantee having food to eat at all times.

I do have a vegetable garden. I also have some fruits but they are not ripe yet. I have passionfruit, melons, soursop, orange, tangerine, tangelo, lime. I also have 2 coconut trees, but they are to young so I'll have to wait for the coconuts.
I also have a lot of flowers. I want to plant more but I don't place for more plants. I also do think that it is really important to grow your own veggies because of the pandemic, it is better to avoid going to the markets/public places. And growing your own veggies is better because you know what you are eating and it is indeed a guarantee of your own food to eat. So having your own veggies comes with a lot of benefits
