Banks. The corporate centralized scum that they are. The local banks are implementing one stupid rule after another. From their own business perspective it may make sense, but it is scummy nonetheless. This is all due to bad management of the country its economy as a whole by the government, and I also blame the banks for not being prepared for situations like this.
The situation I'm talking about is, of course, inflation. So recently banks have put a limit on how much money you can physically take out of your account, because of the scarcity of paper money. And while not all places accept digital payment, most of them do, so I can live with that even though it's bothersome. But now they have also implemented a fee on savings accounts which far exceeds the rent any average person here makes on their monthly salary. That means having money in the bank now costs money. So what's the problem? Just close your account and be done with that. That would be true, but the withdrawal limit still applies. So basically our money is being held hostage pretty much against our will, but we have to pay a fee for it.
Imagine forcing someone to stay at your house, while having to pay rent. For now, I'm slowly moving to crypto with a percentage of what I have and I'm looking into other international options. I'm also planning on opening accounts with other banks to spread the risk, and maybe withdraw from multiple accounts if needed. All things that could've been prevented in the past 10 years. If there's anything to take from this, it's that politicians suck, and banks suck. In both cases it's pretty much the centralization that made it suck. So viva la resistance. All hail blockchain.

Well that certainly sucks a lot man, and I hope that you can get out of that situation as fast as possible, the reality is that the politicians and the banks are all in league, so short of a revolution the only way to solve it is moving to crypto, and you say the inflation is high that also means you need another currency to put your money in to have them keep their value or maybe even go up in value, so find a solution where that is possible, maybe Wirex is a good solution, I have planned to get a card there myself, then you can spend crypto with a card, look if it is available in your country, and love the cartoon lol, but we should add one where the banks are scared of crypto too, thanks for sharing and stay safe, awesome and alive.
Already moving around the money and taking precaution.
Cards and incoming foreign payments are almost impossible, because the banks and government haven't really documented all foreign currency. This means that we are on some kind of blacklist, until banks can get their shit together.
I can do outgoing foreign payments and air freight import just fine though.
The next step would be to move and work somewhere else for a while. Let the corrupt people do their thing while I do mine.

So that is the reason you want to travel, or a big part of it, makes total sense.
There's traveling for fun, which I have as a goal. But also traveling for work, which has multiple reasons. Eventually having a passport of a developed country will also enable me to explore the world more freely, without any pesky visa stuff.
So both cards and passports are not very compatible with other countries, that is not promising if they want to get that inflation under control.
Jup, definitely a big obstacle for entrepreneurs.
And that's unfortunate because supporting local business to expand and export can be a huge factor to combatting inflation.
Exactly, so now they are missing out on that and go for making their left foot hurt instead.

Banks are the cancer of society... They are the virus that is killing humanity... And I really think like that... lol...
