I Am Alive! 🌱

You might be 30 or 35, or 40. And you're not married (yet). Or you don't have any kids (yet). Maybe you don't have that fancy PHD (yet). Or you're still figuring out your career. And that's bad right? You should've done all or one of those things a long time ago. Wrong! You do them when you do them. In your own time. At your own pace. You shouldn't start a race against the clock, just because one of your friends has 5 kids 25. Maybe that works for them.

Meanwhile you should be learning a new skill. Earning crypto. Or pretty much do whatever the hell you want. As long as the journey is one of growth and wisdom, you are fulfilling your life's purpose. J.R.R. Tolkien gathers all of this in one simple quote, my favorite quote to be exact.
"Not all those who wander are lost."

Now for an (in)appropriate daily funny image to balance out all the drama.

Yes. You aren't incorrect regarding this. Everything will come on time. We just need to put our efforts. However, We shouldn't just sit idle and hope that all will take place automatically.

There is one tangent though. In facts, having 5 kids in 25 and 5 kids in 40 have some advantages and disadvantages. One of the advantages of having 5 kids in 25 is there will be enough time to raise them. Disadvantages (maybe) are financial issues. However, those people with average life expectancy is 60 - 65 years, having 5 kids at 40 may become problematic in term of "not having enough time to raise the kids".

That's my thoughts.

We shouldn't just sit idle and hope that all will take place automatically.

Religious people that just pray and wait come to mind. Efforts matter indeed.

In the case of your scenario is that making rational decisions at each point in time also matter. If someone is 40, that person should realize that maybe 5 kids aren't realistic for whatever reason and then settle for 2 or 3. Adaptation and knowing when to change course is sometimes better than being fixated on one specific goal.

@rarej - This is a well food for thought post of how people live life on any other expectation. Sometimes we always race ourselves with other people without thinking about our abilities, capabilities and goals. In my country, many young fresh graduates at each year. They learn and study only just to complete and get the paper certificate for social acceptance without any knowledge of what they have learned. That's why so many unemployment for young graduate.

I am totally agreed with you that we should better pursue our goal in life. Learning and explore the new things are what we do to pursue until our last breath. Be healthy, safe and strong. Have a great Thursday.

I agree. Those students that finish really fast usually also lack the social skills that are needed to function properly in everyday life, because they were only focused on memorizing things.

Have a great Thursday as well!

hello dear friend @rarej good day
The topic you have touched on is very interesting, it invites a reflection and perhaps some debate, however, you say very true things, we all have different times to do things.

I really agreed with @hafiz34 there are something which we have to put effort into without any effort we wont be able to achieve them. The tick of the clock doesn't wait for man so also man have to put effort in whatever he does so that he can achieve thing on time and fulfill destiny @rarej

Indeed. Put in effort, but never overwork yourself at the cost of your own health.

This is an impressive alive post.
Looking at the way things are, one would discover that not all fingers are equal.
You time is you time and no one's.
I like the line;

You do them when you do them. In your own time. At your own pace. You shouldn't start a race against the clock

Very meaningful and straight to the point.
Our life path is just like our faces with different similarities.
Be guided

This is an impressive alive post.

Thank you for the compliment. I try.
As long as you do something and put in the effort, the timeline doesn't matter.
Being happy does matter. :)
