I so feel you, Mike! There were many things just like that which when I learned how they actually worked, my perspective on them shifted quite notably! I think that something like that is occurring here on Hive too, sadly. Also, HBD, which is pegged to the price of the fiat dollar, which of course continues to decline in value, is also declining in value, but we don't notice it because it's always at $1. So it would seem that the whole Ecosystem is declining in value, or something very much like that. πππβ¨π€
