The beginning of these posts was my My Life Just Hit a Brick Wall at High Velocity, on the Cusp of My 50th Birthday: Mid Life Crisis 101 post. I link that post because I want to give my readers some useful context for what I write in these posts.
Warm greetings all! 🙏 💚
I woke up at 3AM this morning, and couldn't get back to sleep (I woke up at 4AM yesterday, and also could not get back to sleep). By 5AM I had to drop Melekai off at the airport, then drive the car back to GaiaYoga. I was definitely exhausted, but otherwise I felt good.
There was radiant sun in the early morning today, with a little bit of rain, which gave rise to a really beautiful rainbow. I was really happy that I got some great shadow photos for the Shadow Hunters Contest during this time too. Soon, however clouds and rain moved in again, and remained for the whole rest of the day.
There was a short community meeting this morning, after which several of us helped to move the experimental modular and movable sheep corral down to one of the areas where we will be keeping sheep soon. We also unloaded a truckload of pallets, that we put in one of the covered parking spaces.
After that short bit of work in the morning, and because it was cloudy, rainy, and wet all day, I stayed up at the Flow House sipping my exquisite superfood fire coffee, and doing my Hive thing clear into late afternoon today, past 3PM. While I was there, I wrote and published my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: Change Plans that Don't Work, Not the Goal! post, which flowed quite easily and quickly.
With all my new Hive activity and activities, I was rather overwhelmed for about two days, and then thankfully today everything seemed much easier. I got used to it, and I adapted and stabilized quickly, hence what felt really overwhelming just a yesterday, today felt easeful! That's badass!
I stayed on Hive until after 3PM today, and not becase I had a horde more to do, but because it was raining all day. While I was there, I finally started learning how to play Splinterlands too! Sometime after three I made myself go find some more work to do.
My first task was to change the ethernet head in Jo(hana)'s place, as it has been failing. I completed that pretty quickly, and moved on to collecting palm fronds to use to cover the new bed of red cassava that Ryan and I had planted two days ago. The last little bit of work for the day was to stage 6 hog-wire cages over in front of the Bedouin, next to six pots of of poha berry, which I plan to plant inside the cages tomorrow.
Once it started to get dark, I went to the Landing to make myself some yummy food, and to blend up another round of kefir with honey, cinnamon, and cacao. Once I finshed those two things, I went the Flow House to eat and catch up on Hive, then to publish My Entry for Shadow Hunters Community Contest/Show Me a Shadow: Round 248 - Morning Basket Shadows - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Big Island, Hawai'i - Friday, December 2, 2022 post, and to begin writing this one.
I haven't slept well in two days, and I can't keep my eyes open, so I'm going to end this post and get my cute little tush to bed! I hope y'all have a gorgeous night! G'Night for now! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚

Man, looks like a paradise there!
Glad you could overcome those obstacles best of luck to Splinterlands!

It is in many ways! I love being able to live where and how I do! It's a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community, way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, Big Island, Hawai'i. Thanks much brother, yes, I'm doing pretty well indeed! It may take me a bit to learn and become good at Splinterlands, but I'm starting at least! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Sounds pretty good! Greetings from the cold!😅
Splinterlands can take a little time but it's also a good hedge against the bear market. I mean, some of the cards hold their value pretty well. Goodluck with SL!
Hehe...I grew up in a cold area, so I understand! Yeah, Splinterlands is a whole investment in itself! I think I could become quite good at it in time! Thanks much brother! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
You're welcome1 🙂

Yay! 🤗
