I have some more excellent ALIVE and We Are Alive Tribe news to share with all of you today! In yesterday's post I talked about how a very kind and generous member of our community had offered to cover the costs of creating a new ALIVE diesel/liquidity pool. Well, my friends, this amazing fellow, Alexandr (@stdd), did just that, sending 1,000 BEE to @aliveandsocial this morning, which I used it to successfully create the ALIVE:SWAP.HIVE pool (I added the BeeSwap link, but liquidity can also be added on Tribaldex), so we now have an easy and quick way to swap between ALIVE and SWAP.HIVE directly. This new pool will help to stabilize the ALIVE market price, and it makes our token even more useful.
Although I didn't have a lot of SWAP.HIVE to spare this morning, I was the first liquidity provider in our new pool, adding 50 ALIVE/2 SWAP.HIVE, which is right in the middle of the market buy and sell prices, so 1 ALIVE/0.04 SWAP.HIVE. Here's were all of you come in! This is a community call to action: We ask you to please add as much liquidity as possible, so that the community will actually be able to use our new pool to swap assets. While the ALIVE:SWAP.HIVE pool doesn't have any daily liquidity rewards presently (that requires 100 BEE), liquidity providers will receive pool fees (viewable on Tribaldex) from people using our pool to swap, so the more swapping that there is, the more fees will be earned.
I want to thank you again for this incredible contribution to our community, Alexandr; it, and you, are very deeply appreciated. Because of this beautiful gesture, and how I've seen Alexandr stepping into a leadership role even without being officially holding that role, I asked him if he would be open to becoming a part of the We Are Alive Tribe Core Leadership Circle, to which he happily responded in the affirmative. So I'm also grateful to announce that Alexandr is now an official part of the Alive Tribe core leadership! He is replacing Bjorn's wife, Nathalie, who chose to leave her leadership role. While we're sad to see her go, we're happy to welcome Alexandr to the team!
The market price of ALIVE has been rising quite quickly, thanks to Ben (@benthomaswwd), @urrirru, @benef.alive, @offgridlife, among other community members, buying large quantities of ALIVE off the market, and of course because HIVE is now being distributed in our daily ALIVE dividends. Now with an ALIVE:SWAP.HIVE liquidity pool, we have greater price stabilization, and a direct swapping bridge between our beloved community token and the layer-2 SWAP counterpart of the primary asset of the Hive Blockchain.
Things are moving and happening so quickly lately in the We Are Alive Tribe, and with ALIVE, and we're already collecting a back-logged list of changes and developments to implement, the main constraint being time, especially for Bjorn (@borniet), but rest assured that we'll get to everything as time permits. This is a very exciting time for the We Are Alive Tribe indeed, and you know that we're not even close to being done bringing more awesomeness to all of you, our deeply-appreciated community! The best is yet to come!
Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-We Are Alive Tribe tasks, by a little after 2PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and collecting a double batch of coconut water and coconut meat from a whole gagglefuck of younger coconuts to begin another round of kefir fermentation, which took me much longer than usual due to sub-par coconuts. I also helped Braja with a few small tasks at her place, and I tidied up the coco bar a tad bit, though I didn't have enough time to do a full chop-dump-and-clean process. I finally got everything done for the day around sunset, at which point I went to the Landing to make myself some egg torts with horseradish mustard, and with those and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand(s), I headed back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive-Blurt-We Are Alive Tribe tasks, and to catch up on my Hive notifications. With the price of HIVE so low, Hive felt like a ghost town last night, with far fewer notifications than usual. I finished up just a little after 8PM, after which I spent some time uploading a diverse assortment of PDF books to Qotal's QDN (Qortal Data Network) using the Q-Share app, which is a completely decentralized data-and-media layer for the Qortal Blockchain. That's the first time that I've published anything to Qortal, but it certainly won't be the last. After uploading the PDFs to Qortal, I did some Hive asset management, and I went to bed just after 11:30PM. I woke up at 6AM, having slept well, doing more asset management while I waited for the power to come back on (the solar batteries crashed around 6:30AM), going to the Landing to finally make my superfood fire coffee once the electricity returned, then back to the Flow House to create our new pool, and to write this post. It's now just before 12:45PM, so it's quite a lovely time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive-Blurt-We Are Alive Tribe tasks, before leaving the Flow House, to focus first on photography for my posts, on some community/land work, and then to walk over to my friend Lea's property to help her with a repair. 2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
