With the coming of the new year (at least in terms of the 12-month Julian calendar) some of our weekly @alive.chat challenges will be changing a bit, as one of our highly-valued co-hosts, @cursephantom, will be moving on to new and exciting endeavors of his own. Thank you very much for hosting our Monday and Tuesday @alive.chat challenges in such an exceptionally excellent manner for the past year, Wilson, and we wish you immense success with the new project!
Wilson will be publishing the last Monday and Tuesday @alive.chat challenges near the end of December, so I'm putting the call out to our esteemed 'We Are Alive Tribe' community now, to see if any of you would like to become an @alive.chat co-host, to join @edgerik, who runs our Friday and Saturday @alive.chat challenges. For every @alive.chat challenge that you host per week, you'd be paid 0.05 ALIVEM, or an equivalent amount or ALIVE if that's your preference, at the end of every week (I'm in Hawai'i, so it might be at the beginning of the week, depending on where you are in the world).
The Monday @alive.chat challenge is sharing our goals and progress, both on Hive and in life, and the Tuesday challenge is APUD/ALIVE Powerup/Staking Day, where we power up our ALIVE. One individual could host both the Monday and Tuesday challenges, as Wilson did, or s/he could host only one, if that's all that his/her schedule permits. I'm hoping that Wilson would be willing to train new @alive.chat co-hosts for the Monday and Tuesday challenges before he departs.
We'd also love to get new @alive.chat challenges running on other days of the week as well, so if you feel inspiration and motivation to flesh out that idea, let me know, and we'll make it happen. There are all sorts of possibilities with our weekly challenges, and we'd also very much love to explore more of them.
There are 3 deeply-valued 'We Are Alive Tribe' members that come to my mind when I consider who might indeed be great fits as @alive.chat co-hosts, @rajpootg, @ivyann, and @josueelinfame. If any or all of you wonderful Alivers have the interest and motivation to become weekly @alive.chat co-hosts, for one, both, or even other weekly challenges, I'd love to discuss the idea with y'all. Let me know, my friends, since we have less than a month to get things set up for the Monday and Tuesday challenges to continue into January and the new year.
Yesterday, Wednesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, quite late, just before 3PM, giving my attention first to collecting coconut water and coconut meat from several younger coconuts to start another round of kefir fermentation, after which I chopped and dumped bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and I tidied up the area a bit. With those two tasks completed, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, then I went to collect plants from my nursery, to plant soon in the planting beds on either side of the Flow-House path. In the process of doing that, I also ended up doing a thorough weeding job in those same planting beds. It looks a whole lot better now, and I'll likely get all the plants that I chose into the ground today. After finishing my weeding job, I cleaned up, heated myself up some leftover food in the Landing that I had in the fridge, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks. I got everything done by a bit before 9:30PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed around 11:PM. I woke up way too early, at 3:30AM, and unable to sleep, I did some more asset management, before making another partially-successful attempt at sleep. I woke up again just about 8AM, having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 11:30AM, so it's an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on community/land work. 2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
