I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Today was a pretty enjoyable and productive day, and it was sunny and warm to boot! While I did miss one important deadline because I couldn't do it yesterday, or get it done early enough today, I still got a good bit done on Hive today! So much so that I had most of what I wanted to get done finished by about 2:30PM, which is when I left the Flow House today to go do some work on the land.
I did three main tasks today. I walked the entire inside perimeter fence of the chicken pen to see where pigs where getting in again. That took maybe half an hour or so.
The second task was one that I was really looking forward to getting done - laying a new ethernet line from Water's Space to the Flow House. It took quite an bit of work with my machete to get through the very dense thicket of strawberry guava that lay between the two spaces, as well as to carefully traverse the jagged 'a'a lava. I strung the ethernet cable inside several sections of PVC conduit, and then I ran it up the lava wall, and then across it to the Flow House.
Once I had the ethernet line run to the Flow House, I got a switch and I cut the cable on the side of Water's Space, and the I put ethernet heads on both ends of the line. I connected one end of the line to the switch in Water's Space, along with the line already there from the Landing. Very thankfully everything worked on the first try, so now I have a fully functional ethernet internet connection to the Flow House!
Since I already had my second router at the Flow House acting as a repeater for my first router in the Landing, I changed the operating mode of my router in the Flow House back to a regular router, and then I set new IP addresses for both routers, so that the new setup would work well. In the end it all worked perfectly!
The last task on the land was to patch the holes in the chicken-pen fence with Ano that the pigs had made. That thankfully didn't take very long, and we were done by before dark.
With work done, I took a shower, stained out more kefir to make my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, made food, and then returned to the Flow House to write and publish my Index4Index Inspired Motivation: One Step at a Time Is All You Need! post, and then begin writing this one.
I'm really thankful to have gotten the ethernet line to the Flow House done today, and that it went so well. Now I have ethernet or Wi-Fi as needed! Marvelous!
