Do you have an ultimate goal for being on the Hive Blockchain? Most of us, especially those of us involved in the Alive Tribe and the Saturday Savers Club, have weekly, monthly, and even yearly goals. That's all wonderful and useful, but what is the ultimate goal that you'd like to achieve here?
My ultimate Hive Goal, as I've expresed many times previously, is to become a millionaire Hive whale, for two main reasons. One, to be able to easily live off of what I've created here, and two, to be able to help lift as many people as I can so that they can do the same. That to me is a noble and beautiful goal, and one that gives me immense motivation to show up here every day to grow my account the most I possibly can!
My main goal this year is to reach dolphin level. I obviously have a notable way to go but I have a couple ideas that may be able to help get me there. One is my HBD in Savings, and the other is my assets on another chain, the PKOIN that I have staked on a community node, growing quite nicely week to week. It's a timing thing. Being able to make use of these and other assets at just the right time to give myself a sufficient boost. Once I get to dolphin level, the next goal is orca, which is many times more challenging again. It can be done, though!
Everything I do here on Hive is done with the intention of creating mutually beneficial relationships, win-win dynamics, where we help each other grow. That's an ideal situation. I want all of us to succeed, and I'll do what I'm able to make that a reality.
Shakira wanted to work with plants again today in the nurseries, and we had decided to meet at 3PM. Much to my chagrin, I wasn't able to finish catching up on Hive before I left the Flow House to go work with Shakira, which means that I would have to do it in the evening. While she watered my nursery, I collected and up-potted two different varieties of bamboo.
When Shakira finished watering, she came to help me move the up-potted plants back into the nursery. We then did some weeding in my nursery for a while. Ano had asked me for more bodywork, so I had to finish in the nursery earlier than I really wanted. I worked on him for about an hour. When I was done working on Ano, I made food for myself in the Landing, then returned to the Flow House to finish my Hive catch-up. It took me a while, but I got it done finally. I started on this post just after finishing that.
It's already almost 12:30PM, and I'm struggling to keep my eyes open, so I believe this is where I should end this post for the night. I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

There are a great many very useful species and varieties of bamboo. Ano, the fellow who originally created GaiaYoga Gardens, developed quite a name for himself for selling about 40 different species and varieties here on the Big Island. There are all sorts of bamboos planted all over the property. At one point in my life I intended to become a botanist specializing in the woody bamboos. My life took a radically different course, but bamboos are still like old friends to me. There are no bamboos native to the Hawaiian Islands, so all are introduced. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Yes, but why are you interested in bamboo as a building material, this is understandable, like food in the form of young sprouts, and this is understood, but what else? :)

Bamboos have more diverse uses than any other plant on earth, with few exceptions. Coconut palms and hemp plants come in second and third. David Farrelly in his excellent The Book of Bamboo: A Comprehensive Guide to This Remarkable Plant, Its Uses, and Its History, lists over 1,000. I've had a deep love and fascination with these glorious and beautiful woody grasses since I was a child. I could talk about bamboos for hours! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
For now, I only consider bamboo as a material for some crafts that I have made in the past. but we have a relatively expensive material, and my favorite fishing rod was bamboo :)

Hi! I also have a resolution to become a dolphin, but I don't know if I will achieve it this year, but I think the most important thing is to have the will and determination to reach that goal. Like you I have HBD in savings, which I plan to convert to hive, when I see fit. It was only a few months ago that I set out to take this task seriously and I am happy with how far I have come. On the other hand, it is not easy to post every day, I set myself to do it recently and it has been a titanic task, I suppose that after establishing the habit it will be easier.

That's fantastic that you've set that goal for yourself, and you're absolutely right, your determined will is one of the most important elements in reaching that goal! That's wonderful! It truly is amazing how quickly consistent daily activity can add up! Publishing a post every day is not really difficult once you make it a habit. I made the commitment to do so on February 1st last year, so I've published 1-3 posts every day for more than a year now. Start with one small change, stabilize it, then once it's part of your daily patterns, add something else, stabilize, and on and on. I did the same thing with engagement, and I've been in the top ten, and usually in the top five, in the Hive Engagement League for about three months straight now. Small changes can have profound effects.

Thank you! I only mention it to flesh out the fact that progressive small commitments over time can take you where you want to go. Before I made them, those accomplishments were nothing more than a dream. You truly can accomplish anything you set your mind to do here on Hive, or in life for that matter. Small changes over time are the stepping stones that we use to carry us from our dreams/desires/goals to our accomplishments/grounded reality/successes.
