I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Hive is a very special and powerful framework that puts the power of decision and action squarely in our hands. Unlike conventional social media, we are not consumers or users on Hive, but rather creators and owners. Because of this, what is important to us, and what we want, truly does matter.
Hive is completely community based, and as such it requires poeple like you and me to make the choice to take on the responsibility of making Hive our own, to nurture, build, and grow it, like a beloved garden, into something in which we are both deeply proud and immensely satisfied. It's up to us to do this, and we absolutely can, but we must bring our love, passion, and care to this incredible Blockchain, to stand up and speak up, and become a part of the conversation and decision-making process.
Yes, we may hear about things, either actual or potential, that we don't like about Hive, like for example the present heated conversation on the possibility of removing the reward pool, to counter the misuse of AI and downvotes, but we always have a say. There is no top-down trickle of 'the way things are going to be' here on Hive, because there is no one leader of master of what Hive is. That master and capitain is us, and we absolutely can and should step up to help steer our beloved Blockchain vessel.
What do we love about Hive? What do we feel could be improved? What would we love to see become a part of this glorious Blockchain? We. Can. Make. It. Happen. Period.
Is Hive just a way to pass the time and make a few dollars, or a passion based on seeing its elegant actuality and its mind-blowing potential for individual and collective worldwide sovereignty, empowerment, freedom, and abundance? I don't know about you, but I love Hive way too much to just sit on the sidelines and wait for things to happen around me!
Yes, our stake may still be small, but we can and are growing it every day, and with it our power and influence on the Blockchain also grows. Don't bemoan the whales, become them!
As of today, I've been on the Blockchain for 2 years, 2 months, and 2 weeks, exactly. I'm also 25 days away from receiving the HiveBuzz Yearly Author badge, which will be a nice treat to my long streak of posting every day! I'm more passionate about, more in love with, and more all in on this excellent Blockchain than ever before, and regardless of any challenges here or in my my life, I am exceedingly excited for the future! I want to share that passion and love with my fellow Hivers/Hivians, to co-create something even more amazing and excellent!
Yesterday, Wednesday, like the day before, I finished up my essential Hive tasks by around 2:30PM, and then it stared raining, again. With the less-than-ideal work weather, I used my time again to focus on Hive tasks, until the rain finally stopped, and the sun came out again, about half an hour later. When I left the Flow House about 3PM, I took a little time to take photos for this post, and then jumped into some land work, which entailed separating dead 'shaker' coconuts from living ones with @aukuna, loading the living ones into the truck, dumping the dead ones under young coconut trees for mulch, and then spreading the living ones out with Ano and Austin (a new fellow at GaiaYoga) on the just-cleaned-and-weeded coconut sprouting beds along the driveway down to Tutu's. The whole process took a few hours, and we finished just before sunset.
After working, I took a shower, strained out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, made myself food, got my kitty friend some food, then I returned to the Flow House for my evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on notifications. Although I did get very close, I wasn't able to fully catch up before sleep overtook me. I had to leave a small bit to complete today. I went to sleep just after 12:30AM, and thankfully I slept very well, waking up around 6:30AM, doing a short round of token management, then focusing on and finishing @benthomaswwd's @heartbeatonhive contest, before finally getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffees just after 8:30AM.
There was a community NVC meeting this morning from 9AM until 11AM that I attended, and when it was done, I made my way back to the Flow House to write this post. The time is now approaching 2PM, so it's an excellent time to end this post, so that I may get to my afternoon round of essential Hive tasks, before devoting time to land work in the late afternoon. I deeply appreciate you all so very much! Until tomorrow's post! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
