I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. I talk about the marvel and magic of compounding interest and exponential growth quite a lot in my posts, and for good reason, as it is what allows us to begin with nothing, from zero, on Hive, and over time grow our asserts to truly incredible levels. That's exactly what I've been doing over the past 2.5+ years, leveraging the assets that I have available, as effectively and efficiently possible, to generate ever-greater growth. That modus operandi has seemingly served me quite well indeed.
What makes compounding interest and exponential growth so amazing? It lies in fact that the more we have, the faster we grow. The very rate of growth itself ever accelerates. Observing the beauty of this process unfolding over time is incredibly satisfying, to say the least! Even with the rather low 2.77-3% APR for Hive Power, I now receive 15.806-17.118 HP monthly from interest alone, and my present HBD balance in Savings yields me 4.643 HBD in interest each month based on the 20% APR, and as the total balances of both continue to rise, so does how much I recieve in interest. Pretty nifty, eh?
I've been able to make one major investment so far into Hive from outside assets that I made (PKOIN) on Bastyon, that allowed me to do my mega powerup to dolphin 🐬 level on December 1st's HPUD, and with the trading fund that I'm now growing on Hive Engine, that came from the original 18.2 LTC (as SWAP.LTC) that I was sent as a thank-you gift by a friend for some crypto-investing suggestions, I will soon be able to majorly boost both my layer-1 and my layer-2 growth. That is incredibly exciting, because each time I notably augment my assets, my rate of growth will also get a nice boost!
For the newcomers to our glorious Blockchain, yes, starting out on Hive can indeed be quite challenging, but every bit of time and energy that you invest in Hive will benefit your future in ways you may not even be able to imagine yet, because with patience and persistence over time, once you get the snowball rolling, there will come time when your assets will grow faster than you can use them, and you'll be able to live off the dust of your account's monthly interest. That's my goal and plan, and as it gets closer every day, it only fuels even greeter motivation to keep showing up every day, to continue building, growing, and saving.
Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my afternoon Hive tasks, just a bit after 1:30PM. As I usually do, I focused on straining out and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) first. The weather was not very conducive to good photography, so I didn't take any more photos for these posts after my morning walk down our jungle road. There was some sun, here and there, but it was a rather ephemeral experience through the day. Even with that, however, I was still able to fit in a little sunbathing on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn for a little while. After sunbathing, I ended up working with Ano, and Lizzie (a newer woman at GaiaYoga Gardens) for a short time too, to dig up various banana plants in the Durian Orchard (as Daisy the cow kept eating them), and then replant them in the front Orchards up by the road, which took a few hours. I also collected a wheelbarrow full of Cecropia and Melochia leaves for cow food, as I helped with the bananas. After working, I took a shower, then I collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and headed back to the Flow House, to get to my evening round of Hive tasks, and catching up on my notifications. While I got close, I wasn't able to finish catching up fully, getting to within 8 hours of being fully up to date. After a little too much time checking my Bastyon and X feeds, I went to bed just before 12:45AM, sleeping reasonably well, and waking up around 6:30AM, doing a round of token management, starting on this post, scanning my Bastyon and X feeds again, then getting out of bed around 8:45AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.
It's now just before 1:45PM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to a few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House later in the afternoon, to first strain out and blend kefir, perhaps take more photos for these posts (if the weather cooperates), maybe make some of my spicy seasoned popcorn, and then get back to my mostly Hive-focused Sunday, culminating in my 103rd Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update later tonight. 2024 Life Goals
1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do.
2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness.
3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.
4.) Dance regularly again.
5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again.
6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.
7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.
10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.
11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
