I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. As y'all probably notice, I love photography, since I include so many photos of plants and nature (two other loves) in these posts every day. What some of you may not know is that it is Hive that originally got me into taking photos. It all started with photo contests.
Although I haven't entered myself in any photo contests for quite some time now, my love and passion for photography has continued to grow and develop over the past two years and eight months, until now it's something that I do almost every day (I do skip a few days here and there due to non-ideal weather), with my eyes 👀 always on the lookout for killer shots.
As it stands now, I have many thousands of photos that I've taken, and in looking through them, it becomes apparent that the quality of my photography has increased over time. I've developed a better eye for what makes a good photograph, the framing, light, shadow, color, contrast, texture, patterns, symmetry, balance, and it informs every photo that I take. I choose not to take, and I delete, a lot more photos now, because I know that I can get a better shot.
I receive compliments on my photos quite a lot now, for which I'm ever grateful. I've thought about the idea of entering select photo contests again, but with my already busy Hive schedule, I haven't carved out a place for it just yet. With the photos that I take, and that I share here in these posts, my intention is, in some authentic way, to touch your heart and your innermost being, and to awaken in you an awareness of this breathtaking and radiant beauty that that has so deeply activated and enthralled my own being.
Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House a bit earlier than I was expecting, around 1:30PM, when Iolanthe came to recruit me to help her and her mother Melekai with a planting project that they were doing. So after finishing up my most essential Hive tasks, I went to assist the planting process for a while. Melekai had built two strawberry planters that we moved into position, added soil, and then planted the strawberry plants. After helping out with the strawberry planters, I returned to the Flow House for a short time longer, to finish up a few things on Hive, then I went to the Landing to strain out and blend kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), to take more photos for these posts, and even to sunbathe on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn for a little while. After sunbathing, I got my machete and a wheelbarrow and collected a full load of Cecropia and Melochia leaves, for cow food. With that done, I got a shovel and a stronger wheelbarrow, and collected and lugged two wheelbarrows full of soil, uphill, from one end of the property to the other, to extend the planting beds that I have on the trail going up to the Flow House, just before the lava steps. It was a great workout, I sweated a lot, and I had the satisfaction of getting another area ready to plant. Once I finished with work for the day, I took a shower, collected the quart jar of my leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, then I headed back up to the Flow House, to get into my evening round of Hive tasks, and catching up on my notifications. I got everything done on Hive earlier than usual, just before 8:30PM, and after a time of scanning my Bastyon and X feeds, I went to bed just before 9:45PM. Super thankfully, I slept very well, waking up later then usual, around 8:45AM, doing some token management, beginning on this post, and then getting out of bed around 9:15AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.
It's now just after 11:15AM, so a great time to end this post, so that I can get to a few important Hive tasks. I have a session with Amelia today at 1PM, so that will be my focus for much of the day. After Amelia's session, I'll at least strain out and blend kefir, but I doubt any land work will get done today. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow! 2024 Life Goals
1.) Heal my broken heart, reignite my heart sun, and embody a solid, healthy masculine, allowing my electric fire to shine bright, no matter what others, especially women, say or do.
2.) Bring myself and my life back into balance, integration, and wholeness.
3.) Do regular (naked) integral practices again, alone or with others.
4.) Dance regularly again.
5.) Work with natural entheogens (mushrooms, ganja, ayahuasca), with punctuated regularity, as a part of my healing process again.
6.) Get, and keep, regular deep, integral energy-body-tantric work healing sessions for women flowing again.
7.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
8.) Make my plant nursery beautiful again.
9.) Live as an integral part of a juicy heart-resonant soul tribe community, with deep, coherent mutual and shared passion, purpose, mission, love, warmth care, sweetness, reverence, respect, aliveness, admiration, excitement, enjoyment, playfulness, work, fun, laughter, attraction, and all-level connections and relationships.
10.) Make love with the woman, or the women, that I love, every day, as a sacred devotional practice.
11.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
