Happy #Wednesdaywalk to all of you guys and many thanks to the both hosts of this amazing Wednesday event, our beloved @tattoodjay and @elizacheng which are looking forward to amazing walks every week on Wednesday.
As already mentioned yesterday, I was briefly for 3 hours in a DIY market.
Why?
I want to convert my old ikea Kallex shelves into large chill out seats with hidden storage spaces, and need wood for it, which you can get best here. Since I live in Almada, this is the closest market for me.
The address is:
R. Sérgio Malpique, 2814-515 Almada
Now let me continue what I did on Sunday, I left my friends on the 8th of January 2023 and made my way from Café Warung to Forum Almada by bus.

(my view from the bus)

(some Impressions of my way to the market)

At the Almada Forum is also immediately Leroy Merlin, which is the local #DIY Market around here.

Once there, I walked up some stairs and went through the parking garage to the entrance of the #market.

First, I had to look for the wood spot here, to reach it, I had to cross other areas and DIY topics, as you can see.

(nooo, I don't buy new lamps now... Aarg, but I would love to. Lets move fast on...)

(this one is niiiice. Would like to have it at my home 😍)

(A friend of mine is owner of a hostel and has such marvelous bathrooms. Loove this style.)

Arrived in the wood corner I got an overview of all opportunities, so I would find the right stuff in the correct size for my project.

(lets look a bit around)

I was initially shocked by the inflation.... All prices are about twice as expensive.
But that should not be the real problem... The real problem was finally that I could not simply transport the size in a normal car, and not in an ordinary bus, which is why I have to have two simple wooden panels delivered to my home at the end. Damn, the delivery alone is even more expensive than the wood panels together. What irony.

Presumably, these will be delivered tomorrow, if you like I can post about my little project the days and show you before and after so you can see my new creation. Write it to me in a comment, if you like.

(some Impressions of the garrden area at least)

(I went to pay my wood order and left the market)

(it was raining outside a bit. Phew, last days were cloudy and rainy.)

But it's also nice to go from time to time there. Normally I loooove to be im this kind of markets. I always find something. Hopefully the prices will not rise more up... Its incredible. Have a beautiful day guys. Hope you had a marvelous Wednesdaywalk tooooooooo.

Happy Wednesday Walk, darling.
This was so unusual and so personal. I really enjoyed it.
They always nab you on the delivery fee :/
Portugal looks sooooo peaceful. *sigh
I prefer where you live to the city. Of course! What an idyllic landscape
Ola, tudo bem my friend @nickydee?
Yeah, indeed, I wanted to show some private stuff, so you guys see I am not only an art blogger. Sometimes also artists and art lovers have to pimp up artfully there home... Lmao
Aaaw, come over here. You are welcome. Maybe you would even love it here and stay 🎶💯✨🎶😁🎶😇🎶💕🎶
Its mostly peaceful siiiim. Of course in lisboa directly you will have the big city vibes more but even there its more calma than in Paris or London or Bangkok. Hahaha.
Hope you have a marvelous Wednesdaywalk my dear. Sending you huuuuugs. Beijinhos linda. ✨🙏🏼🎶🤗✨
Oh! I just long for quiet, easy, peaceful and open spaces nowadays!
I will visit one day :D
I will!
It was lovely to see a bit more of "you" 💕
Browsing through DIY market like that is always fun. BTW I was intrigued when you mentioned Café Warung. I have to check one out cause in Bahasa Indonesia warung means food stall😂
Haha, really? Food stall? Like that. Hahaha, i was wondering what the word could mean... Perfectoooo 😅🤣🎶✨💯🎶 thanks for stopping by and your feedback. Have a great day.
WHat an interesting walk, sounds like an interesting project you have
I am guessing they designed the store specifically so that customers have to walk through all the other areas and get tempted by what one sees, to get to the area with the wood
I do love the look of that bath
Thanks for joining the Wednesday, its always fun for me to visit the walks from all around the world, getting a feel for communities where people live and what they see on their daily walks
