What a way to wrap the year. A walk to CFA (Cynthetic Fashion Academy Award and End of the year Ceremony.)
This event happened somewhere in Gowon Estate, Lagos.
If not for my Google map, I almost lost my way. The invitation didn't carry a clear and precise description. I only trusted my Google Map to help me get to my destination.
I eventually arrived at the venue, got my pass and headed right into the Hall.
It was well decorated and very conducive and I started to feel the vibes already.
It started with a runway, I mean that's the essence of a fashion show. after which the real party got activated.
The red carpet was open for people to be interviewed and captured for the media team.
The host of the event was a renowned designer all the way from Ghana. They call him the king of Corset and Drape and I mean that dude has the aura!
The whole arena was cozy and I knew I was gonna have so much fun.
Dr. clement showed up and it was a game changer. We learned a lot, and also had fun at it. There were games with a huge price tag. Games like Draping competition, and styling a fabric with a word.
And then, the professional dancers showed up in their element. They danced to a couple of songs. I love their attire so much, it was well put together and they actually danced so well.
Some guest went home with $200 worth of cash gift, others won sewing tools, mannequin, scholarship to a fashion academy and so on just for participating in the games while others networked. I loved how I ended 2025 in high spirits. Everyone deserves to be happy.
On that note I also want to thank everyone who has made this year an amazing one for me, if I begin to tag I might likely out number some because of imperfection. So I'm saying thank you beautiful people for staying with me for three freaking years!
It's been such an amazing time learning, unlearning, connecting, sharing, discovering and vibing. I hope you are stepping in 2026 with a very good mindset and in high spirit.
Remember that the same method of doing things often might not yeild a different result, so try a new approach in 2026.
Also remember that there's no perfect time to start. You can only be this young today. Take chances, explore, have fun, take calculated risk, travel, visit new place, priorities your peace, great friendships, growth and stay happy.
Never forget to stay on your goals, a little discomfort actually takes you farther than you imagine. The journey will only be worth it when you look back and see how much you grew. If you're reading this to this point, please know that I love you dearly , grateful for the gift of you and Hive in general, have a blast!
