Greetings, friends
A walk in the park without a dog may become too expensive for you. Your mother learns the morgue phone by heart when you're not home for too long.
These are the words from a song by Nautilus Pompilius, one of the most famous musical groups of the USSR in the second half of the 1980s and in Russia in the mid-1990s.
This group from the Urals quickly gained popularity among Soviet youth thanks to the lyrics of their songs, which reflected the mood of that time, with the arrival of Gorbachev, who announced Perestroika.

I myself am a child of that time, in 1986, I graduated from high school and entered High School, left home, and took a deep breath of the air of freedom that was felt at our Institute at that time. The songs of Viktor Tsoi, Vyacheslav Butusov, Boris Grebenshchikov, Yuri Shevchuk, and Andrey Makarevich created my worldview for the rest of my life. It's called Russian Rock.
But I'll go back to "walking in the park at night".
Work in the office is over, I went to the Healthy Eyes store, ordered lenses for my daughter, and after that, I decided to take a short walk along the Embankment.
The silence and the absence of people even surprised me. Two weeks ago, there were a lot more people in this place at this time of day.

Musicians usually stand in this place in the evenings. But this time the bridge is completely deserted.
Where did everyone go? What happened? The evening is warm, there is no rain. What scared people? By the way, a week ago I was walking by the city pond and there weren't many people there either. Is the citizens' walking season over?

Yes, of course, it was raining in the afternoon, an autumn drizzle. But it ended 3 hours ago. People should walk in the evenings, it's good for their health.
Friends, goodbye! Until the next walk.

Well. I wish all my friends, observers, and readers wonderful walks on Wednesdays. And also on Sundays and any other day!

Thanks for reading...

Beautiful nighttime photos! Odd that there were no people out enjoying the evening.
Winter will start soon, and there will be even fewer people walking in the evening. In the mornings, you can meet rare runners. In the evening, only dog breeders walk in any weather.

Well, I live home when i am in college and live in a boardinghouse. I love the freedom from my mom who is always noisy and seems always angry. But I MS home still in the night. So I always look forward to Friday's when I can go back home and hug my youngest brother.
