So, I returned from China. Yes, I've been in Beijing for 5 days, and I'll talk about that a little later.
As usual, on the evening of the 14th, I flew to Moscow and decided to stay with the children for 2 days.
Yes, my children are a daughter, a son-in-law, and 2 grandchildren. My son-in-law suggested that we take a walk around Red Square, which this year is decorated in the style of a Dymkovsky Toy. What is a "Dymkovo toy"? This is a traditional toy of my homeland - Vyatka.
Said and done. We had breakfast, picked up the grandchildren, and drove to the center of Moscow.
We decided to take buses rather than the subway, and we got to the right place quickly. I must say right away that the road turned out to be more difficult in the evening - the children were tired. There were a lot of people on the streets and the buses were crowded. But that was already in the evening.
To begin with, my son-in-law and I took a glass of mulled wine, which was sold under the name "New Year's drink". My daughter took tea with ginger because she is still breastfeeding her little son.
Now I'm wondering - why isn't the youngest grandson in the picture? He was sleeping in a baby carriage.
It was planned that Timofey would ride on the carousel, but he was scared alone, so Dad sat on the carousel in the form of a tea mugs with little Timofey. With the birth of Andrey's youngest grandson, the bond between Timofey and his dad has become closer. Previously, Dad was always busy with work, and Timofey was more with Mom. The son-in-law said that he was the third in line to Timofey: first mom, then grandpa and grandma, and only then Dad. But now Dad is second in line.
Beautiful iron moose and a girl. I do not know the girl, but the moose is one of the symbols of the Dymkovsky toy.
The cheerful Russian stove came to us from a cartoon about a sloppy schoolboy who was lazy and didn't want to do anything, but once in the fairy-tale world, he became hardworking.
There weren't a lot of people near the drinks and streetfood stalls during the day. From the experience of previous years, I knew that people would show up in the evening. But our goal was to walk, not just walk between the stalls. Of the entertainment, there were only 3 children's carousels, with stalls with food and drinks, and an ice rink.
We headed across Vasilyevsky Descent to the bridge to cross the Moskva River and take a walk on Bolotnaya Square and have lunch at a Teahouse.
