What a beautiful and fabulous walk. And I have to tell you that when I explore a new place, I do the same thing: I head to the highest point first because I know my energy will run out later. But from the old town, the walls, the tower, the church (which, by the way, is absolutely wonderful) all the way to the boardwalk, passing by all those stairs, it makes for a great walk and a visit to a place steeped in history, and I love that.
It’s impressive to see how high up they started and then to see the sea, the restaurants, and the places where the fishermen store their gear. A place that shines at every moment. Beautiful walk!! Thank you so much and a big hug!🤗

Thanks dear @avdesing 🙂
This was a really great walk.
And it was worth it to climb up to the fortified city and the cathedral, because from that point you really can see the veiled city best (since I don't have a drone with me 🙂).
So we have the same tactics, for exploring new cities 😀
As the verse from Gorski Vijenac said: "He who stands on the hill sees more than the one under the hill."
I really like that... I'll make a note of it: I need a drone!😆
A drone is a tricky thing.
Maybe you need a license to fly a drone?
I know... you need a licence. I'd better give up on the idea, but it would be great to have one!
