Such a shame that people use and abuse them so much...

Yes, those donkeys and mules are such kind animals. Their eyes are always warm. It was nice to see them react to us.
Especially here in Spain in the countryside they don’t treat animals well, of course there are lots of people that do.
Spain got a new law approved this month I believe. All animals are sentient beings for the law now. So they have rights. Especially the pets. It is one step towards a better way of life… for all.

So glad that they now get some sort of legal protection. It's long overdue, but at last it happened!
And what about the after of the Galgos hunting dogs? Are they included in the new protection laws???
Not sure about the “working animals” but I do hope so.
