Development is one of the hardest things that might happen in a human's life because it comes with a lot of inconveniences. My walk today was not a planned one but it was one of my most enjoyable movements of the week so far.

We live on the corridor of the ECOWAS country so the highway linking Nigeria to Benin-Republic is presently under rehabilitation. Realising this by the close of work today, I decided to walk down and enjoy nature as I walk.
While I was walking and enjoying every bit of the movement, a lot of people were sitting in their vehicles waiting for the traffic to go down and wasting their precious time at the same time.

During the course of my walk, I was able to enjoy nature at its best. I had the opportunity of taking a good look at the Ologe lagoon which is underneath the bridge that I have to cross before getting to my destination.

During the last lap of my walk, I branch one if the road side shops to buy some sweet potatoes and I can tell you for free that it was a good buy because tell me where in Lagos I can buy sweet potato this much for just a thousand and two naira, all thanks to the walk I did.

I had the intention to buy more things apart from the sweet potatoes but the thought that the weight of the load would drag me down and make my journey slow made me change my mind.

Despite the walk and adventure, I got home in time to do all other things I had planned to do before writing this post.
