La idea de este post nace de una camina con mis primos, las cuales salimos a hacer los fines de semanas cuando estamos reunidos en familia, para nosotros es la mejor forma de terminar un fin de semana. Este es la mejor forma que pude imaginar, para mostrar mi hermosa ciudad como un peatón.

Vamos a empezar hablando sobre mi ciudad, la cual fue fundada en 1561, por juan Maldonado, la ciudad tiene la edad de 461,parece un gran numero pero comparado con otras ciudades de latino América no es tan alto, la urbe esta a punto de cumplir otro año el 31 de marzo. San Cristóbal es la capital del estado tachira este estado es Frontera con la república de Colombia.
Let's start talking about my city, which was founded in 1561, by Juan Maldonado, the city has the age of 461, it seems a large number but compared to other cities in Latin America is not so high, the city is about to turn another year on March 31. lo que se aprecia en la imagen anterior, es una plaza la cual se encuentra en la entrada de la ciudad, como se puede apreciar en el fondo se ve el año de la fundación de la ciudad, ademas la persona representada en la estatua es el patrono de la ciudad, San Sebastián, el cual es un santo de la iglesia católica.
What can be seen in the image above, is a square which is located at the entrance of the city, as you can see in the background is the year of the founding of the city, also the person depicted in the statue is the patron saint of the city, San Sebastian, which is a saint of the Catholic Church.
En San Cristóbal se celebra, en enero la feria gigante de América, la cual lleva por nombre la feria de san sebastian en honor al patrono de la ciudad, en esta se realizan diversas actividades como lo son:
un desfile, un maratón, un corrida de toros, una vuelta al estado en bicicleta, pero generalmente recorre mas estados como el estado Mérida y este año ,esta vuelta llego hasta la ciudad de Cucuta Colombia, entre otras actividades.
In San Cristobal is celebrated in January the giant fair of America, which is called the fair of San Sebastian in honor of the patron saint of the city, in this various activities are carried out as they are:
A parade, a marathon, a bullfight, a tour of the state by bicycle, but generally travels more states like the state of Merida and this year, this tour reached the city of Cucuta Colombia, among other activities.
Lo que se aprecia en la foto anterior es el obelisco de la ciudad este es uno de los monumentos característicos de la urbe, se dice que este fue un regalo de la comunidad italiana en Venezuela, y mas al fon de la fotografía se aprecia el cuartel de los bomberos, esta es la avenida 19 de abril de mi ciudad, esta es una de las mas bonitas que esta posee.
What can be seen in the previous photo is the obelisk of the city, this is one of the characteristic monuments of the city, it is said that this was a gift from the Italian community in Venezuela, and more to the bottom of the photo you can see the fire station, this is the 19 de abril avenue of my city, this is one of the most beautiful that this city has.
la fotografía anterior pertenece a la plaza de los Enanitos de la ciudad, es una plaza la cual esta ambientada en los enanitos de blanca nieves, pero en dicha fotografía se nuestra la fachada de un edificio muy icónico de la ciudad, el hospital vargas, fue uno de los primeros hospitales de San Cristóbal, dejo de funcionar cuando se creo el hospital central de san Cristóbal.
the previous picture belongs to the Plaza de los Enanitos of the city, it is a square which is set in the snow white dwarfs, but in this picture you can see the facade of a very iconic building of the city, the vargas hospital, it was one of the first hospitals of San Cristobal, it stopped working when the central hospital of San Cristobal was created.
Esta fotografía pertenece a una calle de la ciudad mi ciudad esta rodeada por enormes montañas, ya que se encuentra en un valle y este a su vez esta en la cordillera de los andes. personalmente considero que es el mejor atributo natural que posee mi ciudad ya que desde que sale el sol hasta que se oculta se pueden ver bonitas imágenes.
This photograph belongs to a street of the city my city is surrounded by huge mountains, since it is located in a valley and this in turn is in the Andes mountain range. personally I consider that it is the best natural attribute that my city has since the sun rises until it sets you can see beautiful images.
Por ultimo quiero dejar esta hermosa frase que encontré en una de las calles de mi ciudad.
