Wednesday of restoration, painting and lots of sunshine while we made progress on this wall that has been a couple of weeks since we started, only that we had stopped the work due to several inconveniences, anyway today we only painted the face of Chavez in this basic style.

Chavez who is it, you're probably wondering....

Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, was a Venezuelan politician and military man and president of Venezuela from 1999 until his death in 2013. In all the murals or activities that take place in the town are named or referenced to the political group PSUV which was led by Chavez, it bothers me personally and it makes me very uncomfortable to continue putting this type of images that in my opinion are ridiculous and continue implanting this absurd political ideology, but unfortunately I am fulfilling my work as a laborer working in the mayor's office of the municipality as a painter.

This is just part of the process of what will be the mural that adorns a plaza in one of the community centers in the area, which obviously belong to this political party in which this image is reflected.

At the end of this I will do a post summarizing the mural.

Here we can see some of the other workers doing their cleaning work, watering the bushes and also painting the sidewalks and retouching the surrounding benches while at the same time another team was cleaning the streets, cutting the bushes and picking up garbage. Everyone is decorating this part since tomorrow Thursday 12/10 will be celebrated the day of the Indigenous Resistance.

¿Resistencia Indígena day?

This is celebrated in Venezuela on October 12, this date was declared by the -National Government- since 2002, as a way to vindicate the indigenous struggles during the period of colonization of America, origins of this date is known as the "Day of the Race", this due to the mixture of races that originated with the arrival of the Spanish and the indigenous peoples sought to protect their lands from the colonizers, One of the main reasons for which this colonization was achieved was the technological advance that the Spaniards possessed, however their languages, customs and forms of social organization were preserved, planted in their ancestral culture which respects nature and human beings.

•No more treatment afternoons•

That's right, today I was not to attend any hospital or clinic for treatment since yesterday was the last day of antibiotics, so this afternoon I went for a walk with friends while we did some freestyle rap, sometimes it's fun but sometimes we do it seriously looking for rhymes to entertain people in public places with which we generate some profit with talent and the art of improvisation.

You may wonder if I got enough money for the surgery, the answer is a resounding NO, with the accumulated money I had I feel that I fell a little in depression, annoyance and resignation which led me to make the decision to buy food and have a decent lunch for me, my mom, my aunts and uncles and 2 cousins who are at home at the moment due to other difficulties, it feels good to at least be able to support them at the time, I know that maybe later those help will be well appreciated.

I am happy to share with the #WednesdayWalk community this day, I bid you farewell wishing you a great day and hope you have a great Thursday Friday and a super weekend, until next time.

glad you have finished your antibiotics and got such a nice walk in

Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)

Well I had no idea you rapped when I replied to your comment!

I'd love to hear some of it :)

I went and researched a bit on the United Socialist Party of Venezuela because I'm curious. But I can't get into a political debate right now. I'm still reeling from the war thing.

It must be difficult to work at something that doesn't live with your values though. Very difficult! If it's any consolation I'm currently working for a person who hurt me pretty badly and also have to "suck it up buttercup". It's kinda surreal actually.

Survival and all that. But one has to ask the question of what kind of survival then. Because, at the end of the day, the human spirit is more important (I believe) than the body. And it keeps the body healthy. Mind over matter and all that.

Anyway. More rap, please!

And what operation and why aren't you able to have it done?

It would be an honor to get some rap over there!!!

About the PSUV I don't have much to say, even if you don't know the details I'm sure it's not worth the effort, they are the political party that controls the whole country and like everything in politics full of corruption, falsehoods and non-fulfillment of their word of social protection?

It hurts to read that you are working for someone who hurts you (even if it is figurative and mild) it is not fair to work or do something that we do not like, here we learn that it makes us stronger but they never warn us of the fatigue and how to do when we want to give up everything.

On the other hand regarding the operation, the cost over what i can handle has slowed me down a lot and that my current situation is a little complicated not to go into details, down there is a post that explains a little more, let's keep our free spirit firm and reached levels, I thank you very much for having passed through here means a lot to me, I wish you a wonderful day and if I may I send you a big hug from here.

Well I sent you something to help get that operation going for you. Use it please!

Politicians. Ugh. Mostly. It's global now. :|

Don't stop the music!

I see that and uses to ravel from Town to the newe city, i'm here rightnow waiting still to doctor look at me, u have no idea how greatfull i feel thanks u so much ❤️

I'm so happy to hear that! :)

I hope they help you heal quickly.

Just keep on being you. Everything will be okay ❤️
