Happy Wednesday everyone, today I want to share the walk I do from the place where I do swimming to my work, there is one of the streets where the great Paez avenue ends, which I like a lot for the amount of trees that there is right in front of the military musero Villa Zoila and the old prison La Planta. I have already commented that in Caracas there are too many trees and that makes it a special and privileged city because the heat can be appeased thanks to the shadows of the immense and beautiful trees.
Feliz miércoles a todos, hoy quiero compartir el paseo que hago desde el lugar donde hago natación a mi trabajo, hay una de las calles en la que desemboca la gran avenida Páez, que me gusta mucho por la cantidad de árboles que hay está justo en frente del musero militar Villa Zoila y la antigua cárcel La Planta. Ya he comentado que en Caracas hay demasiados árboles y eso lo hace una ciudad especial y privilegiada ya que el calor se puede apaciguar gracias a las sombras de los inmensos y hermosos árboles.
This google maps view is not up to date, because where the land is today a square where they do exercises and people sit down to be quiet for a while, this square has the particularity that it is the view of those who are confined in the prison. I have never dared to take a picture of them. The place where you can see a lot of trees is just the place where I took the pictures. Among the trees there is a large ceiba.
Esta vista de google maps no está actualizada, ya que en donde sale un terreno es hoy una plaza en donde hacen ejercicios y la gente se sienta a estar un rato tranquilo, esta plaza tiene la particularidad que es la vista de los que están recluídos en el centro carcelario. No me he atrevido nunca a tomarles una foto. El lugar en donde se ven muchos árboles es justo el lugar en donde tomé las fotos. Entre los árboles que están allí está la gran ceiba.

Justo a la hora que paso es el momento de desayunar de las guacamayas, esta vez las tomas no fueron tan buenas, fue muy difícil capturar una buena imagen. Ellas conviven en esta zona con zamuros y gavilanes.
The reason why Caracas is still inhabited by a lot of wildlife is because of its trees, mountains and the rivers that even though they are polluted have birds that visit their waters, I don't want to imagine how much more beautiful Caracas would be if these rivers were clean. Before arriving at my office I pass over the Guaire River every day.
La razón por la cual Caracas sigue habitada por mucha fauna es por sus árboles, montañas y los ríos que a pesar de que están contaminados tiene pájaros que visitan sus aguas, no quiero imaginarme lo mil veces más hermosa que fuera Caracas si estos ríos estuvieran limpios. Antes de llegar a mi oficina paso todos los días por encima del río Guaire.
From Hogar Canario to Central Park it is about a 1 hour walk. Cycling takes about 20 minutes.
De Hogar Canario a Parque Central es como 1 hora caminando. En bici son 20 minutos.
