I learned that in one of the courtyards of the city house, a resident once again built a metal figure of a janitor. This is a person who cleans the territory of the city. It became interesting to me and I went to look at this figure during a walk. A man decorates the yard as he pleases. He has this hobby. This is hard creative work. The person definitely has talent and artistic taste. Although his profession is far from it.
The path was not close. I also stopped to take pictures of the flowers. This is a modest flower, but I liked it.
I love summer for the riot of various colors and surprises of nature.
Of course, I could not miss these gorgeous roses near one of the houses.
I met a car with a device that repairs the road surface.
Along the way is the building of the military history museum. But today I had a different goal. I photographed the building so that at least part of the street was visible.
This is part of the museum building from the other side. The museum in the city was opened almost 39 years ago, on August 5, 1983.
And finally, the figure of the janitor, which I came to see. Good job. This is the only monument in our city dedicated to a public utility worker. The metal statue personifies the image of the worker.
The look of a person who loves cleanliness and order.
This is not the only work of a craftsman. Others are nearby - a heron, a gray wolf, a horse and an eagle.
This bike is also the work of the same master. Modest work, but successful.
And next to it is such a horse made of metal strips. The tail, hooves, mane of the horse and even the saddle on it.
Oh what a cute dog. As if real, on a leash on a chain. The bird is guarded by, an eagle on a pole.
This building impresses with the height and power of a bird in honor of the name of our city Orel. The forged bird has a wingspan of 1.5 meters. It took more than 1000 pieces of metal feathers for her.
The figures are made of metal. They are assembled and soldered from separate parts. It's just as labor intensive. First you need to make a blank for each part, and then assemble it into a single whole.
This is a modest figure, like a heron bird. Note that she is holding a frog in her beak.
And here is the wolf on guard.
Modest courtyard decorations, but unique. Valuable talent of a person who has made his labor contribution to the public territory. I'm proud to have such a person in our city.
The address of the yard where the figures are installed: Russia, the city of Orel, Normandia-Neman street, 74. The ideas were embodied by mechanical engineer Vladimir Kozyavkin. For 20 years, making forged products has been his hobby. He lives in the house, in the courtyard of which he installed the figures.
On the way back I met a flock of pigeons circling in the sky.
It was so nice to watch pigeons soaring high in the sky. And the sky is so blue.
And closer to home, I met this sparrow from the younger generation.
I had a wonderful walk today. And the weather is good. It got a little cooler outside. But a sense of comfort.
