Planted in the 1960’s in the area of a former WW2 German gliding school, many of the trees have formed into strange and wonderful shapes
The cause? Scientific reasons blame caterpillar infestation yet the trees grow and are healthy. Let’s go with folklore which suggests the trees follow the movement of the sands.
The weather can change quickly on the Baltic coast, here at Zelenogradsk the sea became less calm, the skies darkened and became more ethereal
Twilight is upon us. The walking must stop and the eating and drinking must begin.
