Greetings, how are you all friends I hope things are good and happy. On this occasion I share my experience of visiting a Submarine, this time I join again I haven't posted for a long time. The location of the Submarine Museum is on jalan Pemuda no 39 Surabaya City, Eas Java,next to the river.
The Submarine Museum is on of the museum an educational tourist attraction the shape of this Submarine is original. The Submarine was Made by Russia in 1952, this Submarine is a force for the Indonesian navy and protect the sovereignty of the eastern part of Indonesia.
The Submarine is no longer used then turned into a Museum to be remembered and become a place to learn about the function of Submarine. This Submarine is called "KRI Pasopati 410",the length of the Submarine is 76,6 meters and the width is 6,3 meters.
The Submarine Museum monument was opened to the public in July 1998. The way it works to move the Submarine to land, is by cutting it into 16 parts,then reassembling it like the original Submarine.
The Submarine Museum is open to the public including elementary school to university students. The entrance ticket price is 15.000,- IDR or less than one dollars, in the Submarine Museum there is an entrance at the front and an exit at the back of the Submarine to make it easier for visitor.
In the Submarine Museum there are officers who provide information about Submarine knowledge. I tried to enter the Submarine Museum, the air inside was quite cool because air condition(AC) was installed. In the Submarine Museum there were several rooms, each room hand its own function such as the front room which was used as a torpedo room,there were several torpedo launch tube.
From the front room walking to the back room in the Submarine Museum, there is the crew's room, the commander's room with a desk, the crew's sleeping area. The sonar room, the diesel engine room which function as a supplier for the battery system' on the Submarine.
An electric room with several basic generators for driving the propeller or changing batteries, a small bathroom, a dining room, at the back there is a propeller engine and there is rear torpedo.
