Wednesday walk : Walking to Tourist Attractions

Greetings, good day with you. Thank you Wednesday walk by @tattoodjay as manager. On this occasion I walked to a tourist spot in the City of Tanjungpinang, Riau Province, this place is called "Taman Laman Bunda Tepi Laut".

The location of this park is on the edge of the beach, it is on the Hang tuah main Road. The beach side tourist spot is one of the places that is busy visiting on holiday and weekends.

I try to walk around this place both in the morning and at night, this tourist spot is a public facility built by the Government. The Landmark of this place is the "Gonggong" building, which is located next to Taman Laman Bunda Tepi laut.

This building is taken from the architecture concept of a sea animal similar to a snail and is one of the typical sea food dishes that can found in many restaurant in the City of Tanjungpinang.

The Gonggong building in equipped with colorful lights that can be seen at night. The location is on the beach and near the passenger ship port visitors can see views of the sea Tanjungpinang Harbor and it's surounding.

Apart from the Gonggong building in this park, it is equipped with a betel leaf monument which is located not far from Gurindam 12 park. The monument is around 18 meters and there are 7 betel leaver.

To color night the monument is equipped with color light so this monument beautiful. One of the betel leaf monument leads to Penyengat island, a small island with a history of Malays, and betel leaves are symbolized as Malay cultural customs.

What a cool building, I love how the snail lights up in the dark!
