For those who live near the sea, there is nothing better than a walk on the beach.
We could call it the "Wednesday Walk on the Beach!
Actually, not only this day in the middle of the week, but many walks in all the years I lived in Italy.

My favorite, and somewhat obligatory, walk to clear my head was before going to work.
The colors of the sunrise as the sun is reflected in the water of the Mediterranean Sea are of a beauty impossible to describe.
A curious fact that I had never stopped to observe is that it follows the opposite effect to the sunsets, where the colors go from the lightest to the darkest of the afternoon-evening.

At dawn the effect is more contrasting because suddenly the sky, until then a dark shapeless mass, begins to take different shades of colors, from orange red to become a sky blue with the nuts that resemble cotton flakes.
And then the walk.
To observe the color of the transparent waters, limpid to the point that you can see the rocks at the bottom.

With that calm that is typical of dawn. The waters that barely move in an endless marine horizon, without waves.
Where we understand perfectly why Christopher Columbus claimed that the earth was round.
The roundness of a sea without horizon is a perfect half circumference.

The other half of the circumference, equally perfect, is the one we do not see.
Para quien vive cerca del mar nada mejor que hacer una caminata en la playa.
Podríamos llamarla la "Caminata del Miércoles en la Playa!
En realidad no solo este día a mitad de semana sino infinitas caminatas en todos los años que viví en Italia.

Mi caminata preferida, y un poco obligatoria, para despejarme era antes de ir a trabajar.
Los colores del amanecer a medida que va saliendo el sol reflejados en el agua del Mar Mediterránea son de una belleza imposible de describir.
Un dato curioso que nunca me había detenido a observar es que sigue el efecto contrario a los atardeceres, donde los colores van del más claro hasta el oscuro de la tarde-noche.

En el alba el efecto es más contrastante porque de repente el cielo, hasta ese momento una masa informe oscura, comienza a tomar distintas tonalidades de colores, del rojo naranja hasta transformarse en un azul cielo con las nuebes que semejan a copos de algodón.
Y después la caminata.
Para observar el color de las aguas transparentes, límpidas a punto tal que se ven las rocas en el fondo.

Con esa calma que es propia del amanecer. Las aguas que apenas se mueven en un horizonte marino interminable, sin olas.
Donde comprendemos perfectamente por qué Cristóbal Colón afirmaba que la tierra era redonda.
La redondez de un mar sin horizonte es una media circunferencia perfecta.

La otra mitad de la circunferencia, igualmente de perfecta, es la que no vemos.
Clarifications. / Aclaraciones.
I want to take advantage of this last part of the post to make some clarifications, in full respect for other users and for the quality of the photos:
(a) The pictures are from some years ago when I was still living in Italy and the cell phone did not have a good camera.
b) For this reason the pictures (except for the two that start the post) have a resolution of 640x480 which are not the best to present them in a Community where you can see excellent pictures.
c) That is why I decided to group them in a horizontal gallery comprising three images together.
d) Anyway, I think that the objective is to present a walk on Wednesday of each week, telling our expressions and where the photos are only an added element that do not make the essence of the post itself but accompany it.
e) Having made the obligatory clarification, I hope you understand the purpose of it.

Quiero aprovechar esta última parte del post para hacer algunas aclaraciones, en pleno respeto por los demás usuarios y por la calidad de las fotos:
a) Las imágenes son de hace algunos años cuando aún vivía en Italia y el celular no tenía una buena cámara fotográfica.
b) Por este motivo las fotos (a excepción de las dos que inician el post) tiene una resolución de 640x480 que no son lo mejor para presentarlas en una Comunidad donde se ven excelentes fotografías.
c) Es por eso que decidí agruparlas en una galería horizontal que comprende tres imágenes juntas.
d) De cualquier manera pienso que el objetivo es presentar una caminata el miércoles de cada semana, contando nuestras expresiones y donde las fotos son solo un elemento agregado que no hacen a la esencia misma del post sino que lo acompañan.
e) Hecha la aclaración obligatoria esperan sepan comprender el objeto de la misma.
