What a fun trip that must be! It's good that while you got lost on your way to the river, you found it and enjoyed the hike :)

I love rolling down our car window just so I can take in much of its freshness, no worries of pollution.

This is what I usually do too to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way and take pictures too :)
