Hello Hivers
Welcome to #wednesdaywalk with thanks to @tattoodjay
Some friends and I took a hike to the Green Monster. A frozen waterfall that has a nice green appearance when the sun shines directly on it.
It was a snowshoe hike, due to the deep snow. Telling a couple friends from Europe about it, I was surprised to find out they were not familiar with snowshoes. Further down is a pic showing them, they are very necessary to stop
Snowshoes
you from sinking down deep in the snow, and enable you to walk on top of it.
Some sections were quite treacherous, and there are permanent sections of rope or chains embedded in to the rock and you use that to hold on to.

Behind the Green Monster is an ice cave, which looked cool, and was interesting.
Cave behind the frozen waterfall
An interesting hike, with great scenery on a perfectly cold but sunny day.
Thank you for coming along on my snowshoe hike.
Wow, it's a very beautiful place, I can feel how cold the snow can make the waterfall freeze, it's an amazing trip.
Thank you, it’s a special place and it was an awesome day.
You're welcome
Sure looks like a rugged walk to get there, I am aware of snow shoes and have seen them but have never tried walking in them
Thanks for joining the Wednesday, its always fun for me to visit the walks from all around the world, getting a feel for communities where people live and what they see on their daily walks
Thank you so much for your support!!
