Photos captured during the last few weeks of stay in the city, approximately twenty minutes walk to visit my brother in his workplace.

With a few weeks left before going home, I decided to visit my brother at his work since it was a year since the last time we saw each other. Yep, the working place was only approximately twenty minutes away from each other yet no one exerted an effort . As long as we both know all is well. Thus, I just feel like going that day so after work I decided to pay him a visit.

It was past five in the afternoon but I could still feel the blistering heat of summer. Felt like I was being roasted . Also, you know it's summer as these flowers bloom! Golden shower tree as we call it in our dialect Balayong. Back then, I would climb up in a tree to harvest those flowers as I found them beautiful! Then, it would be placed on the altar of our patron Virgin Mary during the Flores de Mayo. Ah, those good old days! How I wish kids nowadays had a childhood like mine. Sadly most of them are glued on their gadgets.

There is a building currently constructed that explains why there are post and iron screens for safety purposes.

Going to my brother there is no public transportation in a direct route. Two options are to ride in FX going to SM Megamall which is just a few minutes away yet would take time due to traffic; Or, book a grab/taxis. Eh, why not walk instead?

The pavement was wide and safe.

What can you see? Building endless opportunities at work for those job seekers.

Since it was Saturday, mostly workers are at home, seldom working on weekends. That explains why no one is walking around except me which is pretty fine. I won't get pressured on walking fast as someone might on my back.

But not on this side! The way near the intersection goes to church, school or the nearest mall. Also a way out to the highway going to EDSA.

One of the reminders that I haven't passed by in this place for months! The last time it was still under construction. See now? it was fully operational.

At least the newest Hotel in the vicinity. Surely convenient for the companies nearby just in case a national meeting and conferences will be held.

As I crossed the road I finally felt a little bit colder. This is the area with still a lot of trees which I love to walk but not at night. Not sure if it's only me but I find it dangerous as there are not enough post lights.

And a security patrolling in the area, maybe since this is near one of the well known hotel Shangrila.

This is what I am referring to. Honestly, I haven't been inside this hotel though I had roamed around in the commercial area. Department stores, boutiques that I didn't dare to buy as it's expensive.

Spotted the Fire Tree that was in bloom? It is more dazzling if the tree is bigger and the twigs and branches are wider.

I just literally passed by as this is the nearest shortcut to going to the brother's workplace.

I was expecting a lot of people sitting here while sipping a cup of coffee or beers but there was none. This side was all under renovation.

As I reached Edsa Shaw Boulevard, I decided to keep my phone for security purposes. Better than to regret later!

And this ends my short walk as I wasn't able to capture a photo after. Oh well if I am grumpy and impatient the brother is more! We were supposed to have Unli chicken wings but since he got mad easily we ended up at Mcdonalds .
