Hi friends! 👋🏽 I join the #wednesdaywalk challenge of my friend @tattoodjay. This Sunday morning I attended the Pabellón Cuba, fairgrounds that hosted from May 12 to 19 one of the most important musical events in Cuba, called Cubadisco. This festival awards the best albums of the last year of Cuban music. Although the event comes to life during the night, during the day you can see various exhibitions of some new ventures and artisans at the fairgrounds.

Este domingo por la mañana asistí al Pabellón Cuba, recinto ferial que acogió del 12 al 19 de mayo uno de los eventos musicales más importantes de Cuba, llamado Cubadisco. Este festival premia los mejores discos del último año de la música cubana. Aunque el evento cobra vida durante la noche, durante el día se pueden ver diversas exposiciones de algunos nuevos emprendimientos y artesanos en el recinto ferial.
I must confess that my main motivation to go was to visit the stand of “Chocolatera 2M”. I was anxious to see their variety of white chocolates and to be able to negotiate to enrich the offer of my chocolates enterprise, I was able to take all the contacts, so soon I will have a new variety of chocolates.
Debo confesar que mi principal motivación para ir era visitar el stand de «Chocolatera 2M». Estaba ansiosa por ver su variedad de chocolates blancos y poder negociar para enriquecer la oferta de mi emprendimiento de bombones, pude tomar todos los contactos, así que pronto tendré una nueva variedad de chocolates.
Unfortunately, I could not stay until the closing ceremony, which would have allowed me to enjoy the great musical show and the presence of well-known personalities of the sector. However, during the time I was there, I was able to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the fairgrounds, full of art everywhere.
Lamentablemente, no pude quedarme hasta la ceremonia de clausura, lo que me habría permitido disfrutar del gran espectáculo musical y de la presencia de conocidas personalidades del sector. Sin embargo, durante el tiempo que estuve allí, pude disfrutar del animado ambiente del recinto ferial, lleno de arte por todas partes.
There was a wide variety of handicrafts, leather, wood, silver, gold and ceramic items. Ornaments, footwear, handbags, jars, all very nice and with the distinctive touch of handmade creations and love ❤️.
Había una amplia variedad de artesanías, articulos de cuero, madera, plata, oro y cerámica. Adornos, calzado, carteras, jarras, todo muy bonito y con el distintivo toque de las creaciones hechas a mano y con amor ❤️.
I like to see a lot of knitted objects, I love them, well everyone knows my passion for needles. There were also framed paintings of different Cuban artists, being surrounded by art is a real pleasure for my senses. It is an environment in which I feel very comfortable.
Me gustó ver muchos objetos de punto, me encantan, bueno todo el mundo conoce mi pasión por las agujas. También había cuadros enmarcados de diferentes artistas cubanos, estar rodeada de arte es un verdadero placer para mis sentidos. Es un ambiente en el que me siento muy cómoda.
They had a stage set up where the different orchestras would perform and there were cultural promoters everywhere to make it a nice gathering. Not only Cuban music was felt, there were also Latin American guests, Colombia being the most represented country on this occasion.
Tenían montado un escenario donde actuarían las diferentes orquestas y había promotores culturales por todos lados para propicar que sea un bonito encuentro. No sólo se sintió la música cubana, también hubo invitados latinoamericanos, siendo Colombia el país más representado en esta ocasión.
As always, the Cuban Record Company (EGREM) and the Saíz Brothers Association (AHS) joined forces to achieve an event of artistic quality and maintain the usual festive atmosphere, making the best exponents the winners. I left the place with regret, but I had other errands to attend to. Fortunately, I was able to see everything that happened and the awards ceremony on television. I send my regards to all of you and enjoy the photos.
Como siempre, la Compañia discografica Cubana (EGREM) y la Asociacion de Hermanos Saíz (AHS) unieron esfuerzos para lograr un evento de calidad artística y mantener el acostumbrado ambiente festivo, logrando que los mejores exponentes fueran los ganadores. Abandoné el lugar con pesar, pero tenía otras diligencias que atender. Afortunadamente, pude ver todo lo ocurrido y la entrega de premios por televisión. Me hubiese gustado mucho ir al Pabellón Cuba, ese es uno de los eventos musicales más grandes del país. Además el ambiente se nota muy animado,por lo que resulta muy agradable tu paseo de miércoles amiga 🥰
