It's too cold to take pictures outside today. The frost, which increased to -20 degrees during the day, cannot withstand either the camera or my hands. A sunny day does not make the weather warmer, but on the contrary, the frost increases, but it is still more pleasant with the sun, because everything immediately becomes beautiful., even the weeds along the road and along the river bank. The river is not completely covered with ice yet, because it has a fast current and water is visible in the middle.
This river rarely freezes completely, even in the most severe frosts, so it is dangerous to walk on the ice, but we did not intend to do this. There is a lot of snow and it will be difficult to get down to it now. The car also cannot be left for a long time with the engine turned off, because in such a cold it may not start later.
So I walked quite a bit, listening to the pleasant creaking of the snow and it was time to return to the city before dark, making sure that everything was in order in our village, left for the winter.
