600 Acre mostly wooded park abuts Long Island Sound to the north.
Has many long trails to get lost on //
Nice wide trails to avoid ticks.
This section had lots of mature Beech trees. They have the smooth gray bark that people like to make craving on.
Sloping terrain formed by the last Ice Age.
Walking up to the bluff / cliff over looking Long Island Sound. The large body of water separating Long Island NY & the State of Connecticut.
An open area over grown with thorny bushes near the cliff edge. There one was a house here long ago that had a beautiful view.
At the Edge //
Back on a trail /
Another trail to the bluff, but there were signs to keep back due to erosion.
Nice colors above.
Back we go following the trail markers //

It's Really so beautiful out there. Autumn is One season I have always loved to experience it.
Thank you for the comment //
Lovely park for a hike among autumn leaves. Would this place have snow in winter?
Yes snow, can have 20 inch deep storms some winters.
Wow! Deep snow! People could go skiing!
