As I tried to traverse from the different wonders in the north, diverse captivating scenes allowed me to rejuvenate my well-being. The wonders of nature enriched my spirit and gave me an overwhelming experience that fostered a positive impact on me as a nature lover.
In this blog, I'm going to share my relaxing walks that used to happen on some of the wonderful beaches in Cebu.
I was strolling leisurely down this street heading to San Remegio, Cebu Cebu. This is its biggest bridge. The pedestrian lane was used by the folks as they enjoyed gazing at the beautiful surroundings. Such a great way to clear one's mind.
Unfolds behind this bridge is the tranquil scenic view of the sea. An array of colorful boats is seen along the shoreline. The lush green vegetation behind is cool to our senses as it sways gently due to the ocean breeze. These mesmerizing views of the horizon gently took my wearies away.
Filipinos are truly incredible when means of living are being talked about. Seen from a distance, the traditional method and the natural way of fencing the cultivated fish are applied. Usually, bamboo is used as this is available in every corner of the countryside. Its buoyancy is loved by many, it is durable, economical, and flexible.
As I continued my relaxing walk, my eyes were starstruck by the vast mangroves that added vibrancy to the place. The district preserves natural resources as this is substantial for the sustainability of the environment. These mangroves function in many ways that human beings can never do. I love how they were protected and given worth.
...well then, after a 30-minute walk along the bridge, let me give you a virtual tour of my amazing walk in the white powdery sand of Guafelli Beach Resort of San Remegio, Cebu.
Who wouldn't be allured by the untouched sand that gently met the seawater? Such a great experience that the enticing fine white sand had a soothing sensation that penetrated my feet as I was walking barefoot. The pristine shoreline captivated everybody's attention while the salty aromatic smell of the sea relaxed my mind. We just loved how stunning this shore is.
As I continued my relaxing walk towards the neighboring beach resorts, these colorful pump boats caught my attention. They symbolized the hard work and livelihood of the locals nearby. Behind these colorful paintings are coastal life stories that are truly inspiring and motivating. I just love how it added beauty to the seascape and how it created a wonderful beauty to the serene sea.
Filipinos mostly enjoyed grilling fish once visiting beaches. This way of cooking the fish is a traditional style and cannot be twisted. It is preferred as we can taste the natural flavor of the flesh and it fosters a stronger bond during grilling time. While waiting, others enjoyed playing on the fine sand as this is therapeutic and beneficial to our health.
This revitalizing coastal walk is cherished to the fullest. It had a positive impact on my well-being. I continued to appreciate nature's goodness and was able to connect with nature which provided a treat to myself. I was able to embrace Northern Cebu's richness of natural resources.
I had a great time on this stroll: Relaxed, Revitalized, and Mesmerized. I never get bored on this kind of leisure walk.
