Last week after following @melinda010100 I saw the Wednesday Walk pop up in my feed. I decided to give it a go because I love my morning or evening walks, so now here is my first entry in this community.
I usually go for a morning walk-a-jog before work and if I don't get around to it, yup, sometimes I'm a sleepyhead - or I've got an early work meeting with overseas - timezones y'all, then I'll make up for it with an evening walk after work.
These walks are usually not too long, between 30 and 45 minutes, and take me around my immediate neighborhood. When I'm back home, I will usually do some weights, yoga, or stretching to finish up my little routine.
Since I live in a typical American suburban residential area, it is fairly new, so no interesting buildings or architecture to report. But being in New Jersey there is a lot of greenery around. Something I didn't expect when I moved here from overseas. Somehow I imagined it being like NYC. Well, it is definitely not. In many ways.
Anyhoo, what I am trying to say is that most of my sightings during my walks involve flowers, leaves, trees, and every now and then wildlife. And in that order, I'll share a few photos with you straight from my iPhone, with almost no edits, today.
Actually, how about one photo each?
Have an amzing day!
Flower

Leaves

Tree

Wildlife

These are beautiful pictures. You sure know how to take some pictures. Although it would have been more interesting to have you tell us the things you did and saw during the 30 or 45 minutes work. A little more details so it feels like we did the work with you. All the same, great shots.
@dreemport brought me to your post.
I agree, but - I have a pretty good, or rather bad excuse. Yesterday I found out that a fellow Splinterlands guildmember suddenly passed and it distracted me for the whole day, so I posted very rushed and thus with few words. I am definitely more a photographer than a word-wrangler, but I do try.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a nice comment!
-Wow all the photos were incredible all taken with a great shots!!! Most especially the wildlife..and the tree so naturally artistic. Awesome!!! Thank to @dreemport that this made me possible to see this amazing post of yours. Waiting for more!
Have a blessed morning!
#dreemer
Thank you very much for stopping by from Dreemport and leaving your kind words. Much appreciated!
These are amazing pictures you took during walk. It all displayed the goodness of nature. They are beautiful I must say.
Thank you for joining the #dreemportchallenge and sharing this post with us. @dreemport showed me the way to your post.
Keep writing and keep shining 🌞
Thank you very much for following the dreemport trail to my little post on the chain.
I will definitely keep on writing and posting photos that I took - not so sure about the shining part ;)
I must confess that the pictures you took with your phone are looking beautiful and amazing, you must be a good photographer.
No matter the surrounding you find yourself, you'll definitely see beautiful pictures to take , expecially when it comes to nature.
Nature is Always beautiful in any form it might come, the tree , the flowers and the wildlife are just a perfect shot of you.
I came across your post via @dreemport, and it's nice seeing your participation in the challenge.
Keep on hiving!
I agree very much that nature is always beautiful. At the same time, it can be very scary, too, but I do try to see and capture the beauty in everything.
Thank you for stopping by from dreemport and being here on Hive!
Hello dear these pictures are breathtaking. I absolutely love nature. Been long I went for a walk and i totally feel like i need it too.
Would be lovely to see you interact with your pictures too.
@dreemport brought me here
Thank you so much for your kind comment! You totally should go for a walk. Once you make it a routing it gets much easier.
If by interacting with my pictures you mean 'seeing me in them', then I'm afraid that will hardly every happen, since I am usually taking these walks alone and I am definitely not a selfie person :)
Walking for 30-45 minutes is more than enough if you are carrying it along with yoga and weight exercises.
The tree having heart shape bark looks natural but it looks scary too.
Wildlife seems to be interesting cute little deer or antelope haha I am confused.
I have been brought here by @dreemport
I wish it was. Unfortunately, my scale seems to disagree with that. But these days it is more important to me to be happy and feel good than to shed pounds.
Yes, those are wild deer, momma, and baby deer. Thank you for stopping by from dreemport.
Hehe enjoy your time with family and loved ones I do the same and after a while when I am alone I only do exercises in response to my love haha
You are a good photographer and your camera didn't disappoint you, haha. Its nice reading from you.
Thank you very much for your nice words. I honestly skipped a bit on the words in this post, but - oh well :)
Hi @oceanbee - and I see that you not only entered the wednesdaywalk - but you ALSO got in JUST IN TIME for the last of the entries for the DreemPort challenge!!! woooot!
I will put your post into DreemPort right now - and then tomorrow, all the people who log on to curate - will see the posts submitted today!
they will get 5 randomly selected posts -and then rank them. On Friday, I'll report who got the highest scores. Your post will be in a group with 4 other writers - sometimes strong writers, sometimes weaker - sometimes a mix! That's the fun! It helps people to see how well they're writing when they're ranked by strangers (cuz we know that friends usually upvotes us cuz they love us hahahahaha)
I really enjoy that last photo there - hehehe the deer look like they're prancing for you! LOl modeling hahahahaa

thanks so much for supporting DreemPort :)
Hi there, thanks for explaining a little bit more what I got myself into here. I guess I wasn't really aware, also I thought I didn't make the deadline (but posted anyway). Yesterday was a bit 'weird' as we found out that a fellow Splinterlands guild member had passed, very sad. So ended up delaying this post and now really writing much - sigh - but I wanted to post it and I did.
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a wonderful comment. Much appreciated!
p.s. yes, I did see melinda's post and the wild chickens
I'm so sorry to hear of a friend passing!!!!
I'm sure your heart is still very heavy!! Sending love to you 😞
Thank you very much.
Those photos are gorgeous beautiful flower wonderful light and how cool to see some deer
We have something in common I to moved from overseas to work in NYC and lived in New Jersey for a while
Welcome to the Wednesday Walk great to have you join
REally? Oh, I see you're a kiwi :) I lived in Oz for a few years, but sadly never made to NZ, too much work :(. I feel there are a lot of parts of NJ that are underrated. Then again there are those parts that you don't want to wander in to, right?
Thank you for your kind words! These are 'just' my phone photos though.
Don’t say just about your photos there good
Yes indeed some parts best to avoid
Wow you git some great shot of the flowers and flora there and look at the deer with their fluffy white tails posing for you.
What a great place to go for a walk! Lucky you!
Hehehehe - yeah, those momma and baby deer were fun. See how that baby deer is munching some grass or leaves? They were very attentive towards me getting closer. But I stayed a ways away to not really disturb them. Let nature be nature, right?
Thanks for stopping by!
Yeah that's right, enjoy nature being and doing exactly what theyre mean to be.
Too often humans fall in love with an animal because of not only it's physical features, but because of the way it behaves in it's natural environment and then the stupid thing that they do, is steal it away from their natural environs, take it home and then when it doesn't do the things that they fell in love with (because they have foolishly tried to domesticate it) then they discard them and if they don't ended up being killed or dying somehow, they end up in sanctuaries run on charity.
So glad you are not one of those stupid humans!
Very true words.
No, I am definitely not one of those. Quite a long time ago I even stopped going to zoos, because I cannot watch these beautiful creatures behind bars.
Yes same here. I ask, what did they do wrong to deserve such a lonely life sentence behind cold gray bars when murders, rockspiders and rapists get far less....
You might want to check out my website...for that's my purpose in life...

Did you take these pictures yourself? Wow they are so lovely and I would love to make them into a portrait especially the one with the antelope and the purple flower.keep it up💕
Of course, I took these pictures myself! If I didn't I would clearly credit them.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment.
If by taking a walk I would be seeing sights like this, I'd be walking every day hehe
Well, wherever you are in this world of ours, I am sure there is beauty to see when you look closely. Give it a go and keep on walking.
you have a point right there 😊😉
oh! and by the way
I didn't MISS upvoting you! hehehe
I just WAIT until Friday - so I can give out BIGGER upvotes when I announce winners ;)
but don't worry - I wont' forget ya!
Totally understandable!
Hello @oceanbee ! I see that you have used the tag #alwaysaflower! Thank you for supporting my tag!
The flowers are gorgeous! I love the tree with the heart on it! (It looks like a heart!) All in all, a pretty wonderful walk!
Hello @dswigle, oh, honestly, I didn't know it is your tag. I have so, so very many flower photos from my walks, I have to keep myself from posting (and taking more) all the time.
I agree it does look like a heart on the tree. One of the reasons I took that photo 😍
You are welcome to use the tag in your posts! I love flowers too, but that tree really has my heart!
I'm feeling the appreciation 😍 - thank you!
