Life has given me a wonderful period - to once again feel like an enthusiastic tourist of my hometown of Lviv. This time it is especially exciting for me ... because tomorrow I seem to be leaving Lviv for a permanent place of residence outside the city. And although the distance from the place where I will live to the city is not great - only 15 km, I still feel a little nostalgia ... I was born in the city center, I lived here for more than 50 years. And so, completing the renovation, we decided to live in several apartments airbnb, we got a crazy unforgettable experience in design, which I will write later. But the last apartment is in the heart of the city, on Rynok Square. And here is my night walk, when I felt like a resident of the ancient Rynok Square, where you can see and hear the performances of street musicians from the window. And I do not need to hurry to the last minibus until 21 o'clock. Darinka and I walked at night and I took unique mystical, lit by lanterns, photos of historical architectural monuments. Enjoy with me!
The first photo from the window of my apartment, on the 3rd floor. We heard music and decided to listen up close. The bard sang an English song. It was Darinka's favorite song, here she sings with him :) This song reminded us of an unforgettable time when we held meetings of the Coffee Gourmet Club in the Vezha restaurant in Stryj Park two years ago and a guy who performed this song very talentedly came to the first meeting.
I decided to walk around the Market Square and we went from the statue of Amphitrite, to the left towards the lane, where there is an exit to the square to the Dominican Cathedral. It was very cold, and Darinka began to ask me to go somewhere in a cafe :)
The first stop is near the Mushli restaurant, where there is a beautiful statue of a mermaid. But Darinka does not eat fish, and it does not inspire her )))
Let's move on, and here's a dream - a restaurant "Lviv croissants". So! so! so! - I want to go there, - says Darinka 😀
But first a tour, and only then a bonus - croissants :)
There is nothing you can do - Darinka respects her mother's dream and we move on. Today I will not write retro stories of each of these houses, which are architectural monuments. After all, the purpose of my today's post is to share the emotions from a walk through my mystical night Lviv, which will be my love forever!
I suggest you wake up your imagination and want to come here, settle in a cozy airbnb, and walk here slowly, explore every house, admire the stucco of amazing creatures on houses, view each balcony and unique forms of these houses that have lived for centuries and remained a precious heritage of modern times!
And we move on and return to Stavropigiyska Street near the Museum Pharmacy, go up and see a wonderful luxurious building - the Dominican Church. We stand for a moment to remember this beauty and turn in the direction of Ruska Street.
Again I see the house-museum "Mail on the Market in 1629, and then the famous Black Building with white sculptures. Here was filmed the series" Hotel Galicia "
Then we stop at a mystical place that attracts tourists who love the Middle Ages - the restaurant "Fifth Dungeon!"
The next masterpiece is the building erected in 1580 by order of a wealthy merchant Constantine Kornyakt, a Greek by birth. In the second half of the 17th century, this town house belonged to King Jan - 3 Sobieski, hence the name - Royal Townhouse. Inside the house is a cozy Italian courtyard with three-story open galleries. Today this townhouse is the main building of the Lviv Historical Museum.
And here is a familiar building - the library of Roman Ivanychuk, where once there was also karaoke meeting with coffee. Creative meetings of poets and writers always take place here.
At the corner of Rynok Square and Ruska Street is the famous establishment of the Local Network - "Coffee Manufactory", where there is a museum, shop and cafe.
Then there is the following sculpture of Greek mythology 'Diana, near which the community that dances Argentine tango always gathers on the summer playground in the summer. I admire these extraordinary people.
Opposite the cafe "Drunk cherry", where lovers of strong drinks have their party. And next to my favorite cafe - "Lviv flatbreads". There are strudels for every taste: with poppy seeds, apples, cherries ... and all this is generously sprinkled with delicious chocolate and vanilla sauce.
Next, in a beautiful historic building housed a two-story beer restaurant in the loft style "Graft and Kumpel". And a few more houses on the second floor there is a secret most expensive restaurant "Masonic Lodge". But to get into it, you need to go up to the second floor and ring the doorbell of an ordinary apartment. And there is a luxurious restaurant overlooking the Market Square and the courtyard.
And so we came to the next sculpture of Neptune, and on the left illuminated by evening lights you can see the Polish church. Our walk ended near the new restaurant "Grand Cafe", which is located in the Town Hall and it can be seen from the window of our airbnb apartment. It looks luxurious and we will go there for coffee tomorrow, because we have not been there yet!
So our walk was filled with lots of exciting experiences and I hope it was a good post for #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay

WOW, it looks so magical and majestic lit up like that at night! I want to go in real life one day and walk down those streets, listen to the music and definitely go into eat at the 5th Dungeon restaurant too! (just not in winter...lol...)
