Today I want to share with everyone the memories that revived in me, when I visited the Armando Mestre ( known by its former name El Ferretero), social circle, which is located in nailed in the west coast of Havana, exactly in the residential neighborhood of Miramar.

Hoy quiero compartir con todos los recuerdos que revivieron en mí, cuando visite el Armando Mestre ( conocido por su antiguo nombre El Ferretero), círculo social, que se encuentra en clavado en el litoral oeste de la habana, exactamente en la residencial barriada de Miramar.
This is a very nice area in Havana, where embassies, hotels, business centers and offices of renown, residential houses, etc. are located. Well, in the first street adjacent to the sea, there are several social circles, among them the one I am going to tell you about.
Esta es una zona muy bonita en la habana, donde radican las embajadas, hoteles, centros de negocios y oficinas de renombre, casas residenciales etc. pues bien en la calle primera colindante con el mar, existen varios círculos sociales, entre ellos este del cual les voy a hablar.

We, the adults of today, used to visit this center frequently, since many girls celebrated their 15th birthday party in this center. I want to tell you that this was a luxury for us who lived in the periphery, and our parents did not give us permission to travel alone, so the parents of the quinceañera guaranteed us transportation to and from the house of the honoree, where the parents dropped us off and then picked us up.
Nosotros los adultos de hoy visitábamos este centro con frecuencia, ya que en este centro muchas muchachas celebraron su fiesta de 15 años. Quiero decirles que eso era un lujo para nosotros que vivíamos en la periferia, y nuestros padres no nos daban permiso para viajar solos, por lo que los padres de la quinceañera nos garantizaban el transporte de Ida y regreso, desde la casa de la homenajeada, donde los papas nos dejaban y después nos recogían.
The place was very well kept, the decoration was of excellence and for us to dance in those spacious halls, with the floor so well polished, was a real treat.

The rooms do not have the decoration and beauty of before, but the floors are still polished, which I am very happy about, and there is a small room with a view to the first street, where the plants offer a cheerful touch.
Los salones no tiene la decoración ni la belleza de antes, pero los pisos siguen estando pulidos, eso me alegro muchísimo, si hay un saloncito con vista a la calle primera, que las plantas le ofrecen un toque alegre.
From the ranchón where we were gathered we could see the young people playing on the tennis court, and contemplate the sea that never loses its charm, I was struck by a little girl enjoying the waves from her natural cave jj.
Desde el ranchón donde estábamos reunidos podíamos ver a los jóvenes jugar en la cancha de tenis, y contemplar el mar que nunca pierde su encanto, me llamo la atención una pequeñita que disfrutaba del oleaje desde su cueva natural jj.
We really spent a very nice afternoon, the ranchón is cozy and the gastronomic service was good, the company and the memories did the rest.
