I remember taking numerous shortcuts through private property where I grew up, nobody minded and in fact if people had fences they would put gates connecting the properties on common shortcuts so people could pass through. I don't think it's like that anymore as last time I visited there were a lot more unpassable fences. This is quite a nice area, reminds me a bit of home :)

Glad this personal blog of mine reminds you of that fun adventures of yours. Taking a shortcut to get home faster is like taking on a great adventure too, surely yoh encountered a lot of fun things while taking those shortcuts <(￣︶￣)↗
Just the fun of the jungle (some properties backed onto jungle) and sauntering through actually restricted area that nobody was meant to go through but everyone did anyway ^_^;
