An entry for the #wednesdaywalk challenge hosted by @tattoodjay.
With all the heavy rain last week, I opted to check out the wildflower situation on my favorite local woodland bluff; so I slapped on the trail runners, and away I went this morning.
The start of the trail, and more green growth since last time.
Someone swapped out their little wood burned square; last time, I believe it read "peace." Today had a new pen inscribed message for the world:
I got about three-quarters of the way up...
And I finally got to catch up on my wild daisies I've been passing by for a few weeks now...finally, some life!
I then descended the stone-carved stairs...
And found a few new wildflowers in bloom; I haven't had much luck with an app on my phone yet, but I'll keep trying.
Not bad! No ticks, and no mosquitoes, and a light breeze. I can that every day, all day long...especially when our cryptos land on the moon. Thanks for checking out my #wednesdaywalk...I hope everyone had a wonderful Wednesday too!
So beautiful I love those stone stairs
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk
thanks! they are old quarry stones from the bluff, so much history...the folks the put that trail together really did justice to the area I think.
Ohh yes i think so as well, looks wonderful
Nice relaxing walk ..
Yeah, I can't beat it, to be honest. Crickets, birds...all those wonderful forest sounds to start the day. It's been so nice with life back that I've been skipping the podcasts and ear buds on the walks
