Wednesday Walk - Cold Winter

Winter seems to finally have hit here for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay

The pigeons were extra piled up as someone dropped millet for them.

They get piled up to extremes when the weather is colder and have to pack as much food as possible to stay warm. Squishing into a pile probably also helps with general body warmth.

The horde was not for this loner on top of the union station entry. Maybe its sitting on top of a vent that is warm.

The rest of us are piling onto the frozen bridges. These things are deadly as the ice is quite slick on them and the city never seems to get around to snow shoveling them. Just walk like a penguin and never lift up your feet to avoid face planting.

Thankfully the next day it was all melted. But some slick spots still remain so its best to be cautious especially in the dark.

Meanwhile in the office someone decided to make jalepeno water?! Why on earth would anyone drink this?

Back in suburbia I suspect a rich guy with all sorts of vintage cars in a huge warehouse owns this parking lot. I see something different parked here every time I walk by. Nice retro looking 4wd van from late 70s or early 80s.

Last time I walked by here this thing was parked there. I once saw a cybertruck there too. I'll be keeping an eye on this location next it will probably be a muscle car from the 60s.

That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)

It seems to me that this minibus will be from the 90s.
Here you can meet such "Japanese" on the streets, who are loved for their unpretentiousness and inexpensive service. It seems to me that they will be driving on our roads for a long time. And then there are old German VW T-4 and T-5 minibuses. They are also loved for their simplicity and reliability.

Wow I was way off lol, that color striping was probably a vintage nod they added in the 90s to make it seem more vintage. I like the retro designs much better, I suspect the modern era cars of our day won't really be worth saving because their forms are too functional looking.

You are not alone in such thoughts.

Bridges are freezing here too. Not cold enough yet to try the jalapeño water though 😳

No one in the whole floor touched that jalapeno water. I guess if it was full of tequila it might make sense but jus water then its weird.
