Wednesday Walk - Odds and Ends

Here are a few odds and ends for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay

Here is a strange tiny car from Europe most likely in my town.

Where I live there are a bunch of rich guys who like to spend money on cars and on the weekends you see strange looking rare cars ranging from sports to vintage muscle cars. This one turned my head more than the uber expensive ones I usually see around.

Now for a bunch of strange faces in random objects I've been seeing lately. Here is an ancient googley eyed phone.

A really long nosed coat hanger on a door with a surprised expression.

This door hinge looks a bit like a robot praying mantis head.

A small utility cap kind of reminds me of a smiley face or even a bird beak flying right at you.

Now for a nice and bright looking day downtown. Now the days are getting darker and more bleak as winter approaches.

Meanwhile back in suburbia the neighbors are going crazy with Halloween decoration. Talk about a great source of microplastics lol.

Later we went to a nature center where they feature a screaming turtle. J/k it was just yawning.

1000002554.jpg
They also feature the laziest squirrel of all time. I suspect they have to hand feed it because it is so lazy.

1000002724.jpg
Just some annoying construction downtown.

1000002682.jpg
An interesting church door, perhaps a good sketching reference.

Finally we went to an equestrian show. My daughter even got to ride a pony later on.

That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)

Lazy or depressed squirrel 😅 I like all the smiley faces. Sounds like a busy day. When I was growing up we lived in a company house and the company still had a private phone system from the station to the company houses. There was a phone like that in the basement that still worked! They had moved way past that and no one used it but it was still functional.

Busy days entertaining my toddler who now gets bored. Thankfully simple things entertain her for now. The oldest phone I used was a yellow rotary phone then finally updated to a wireless one that let you walk 10 ft away from it before reception went out.
