Here is a typical gloomy day in Chicago for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
Waiting at the station the rain was just a light mist. Some orange fall colors were slightly visible in the gloom.
Downtown it rained a bit heavier. All us office drones had to break out the umbrellas and somehow pack ourselves onto this one bridge.
The buildings were all getting a nice cleaning.
The skinny alleyway was a good shortcut that blocked some of the rain that was blowing sideways along the larger sidewalks.
Here is a fancy little outdoor lounge area that was useful for escaping a heavy downpour.
Finally the rain stopped a bit and I booked it to the office.
Now after work it is still raining. I'm sure these indoor trees would love the rain.
Everything is nice and slippery out. Metal grates on the sidewalk here are super slippery, I see people biff it all the time on those things.
Off the bridge its nice and gloomy with rain obscuring skyscrapers off in the distance.
Too bad it was a bit too dark to see the reds on the trees to the left.
Finally at my stop it was really downpouring. Everyone was running off to their rides before getting soaked lol.

Rainy days do make for a gloomy commute. Well captured. The emotions and vibe of a gloomy day.
The reflections of the lights on the ground looks nice when it rains. I wonder how the bean looks with some wet ground around it, maybe next time it rains I'll book it out there to see.

The weather was not that friendly yesterday here too as it kept on raining. I had a hard time since I am just commuting going to work.
Glad now the sun shows up.
In unexpected rains that happened sometimes, thanks much to outdoor lounge. It was a great help.
Thankfully it was mostly just mist rain except for when I got home it really downpoured.
Oh, my God. There are skyscrapers all around, and I'm very small.
Endless amounts of people stream in off the trains to fill up the skyscrapers.
Looks pretty grey there today - still a great city though !
