The sellers aren't real souvenir traders but local peasants raising seasonal money from travelers. I believe, they learned from each other that having signs "Sale!!! Sale!!!" is a magic that can help sell... So almost every shop has such a sign. Most shops are just tables, covered with clean tablecloths, exposing cheap stuff like tiny bags and hats....

It's definitely not dry season, but sunny days are regular (as well as mad downpours, normally at night). So you are right, everything so emeraldly green for a reason - regular rains wash trees from (limited) dust and prevent leaves from getting pale from dehydration.

Oh okay. I thought you learned some Nepali which can mean pronounced
something else on Sale.

Pokhara is just the best place to be in Nepal, anytime anyday.
