a break
Just a quick short post to let everyone know that I am going to take a break from hive for a bit
The reason being my Wife had a fall the other night and I took her to the Emergency Room yesterday and in addition to her arm being black and blue she has broken her shoulder
They gave her a sling to wear and pain meds and has to make an appointment to see a specialist next week
The ER Dr said surgery isn’t an option but she will need to wear the sling for weeks
With the intense pain she is having and not able to much without help I just f course are focusing on helping her and nit going out for walks or going upstairs to my computer to edit posts or prepare photos my focus is on being there for her
Not sure how long the break will be will have a better idea when we see the Specialist next week

I hope she has a speedy recovery. It sucks, it really really sucks when you can not properly dress yourself, and with a broken shoulder she is going to really struggle trying to get dressed. I had issues several years ago, and let me tell you it can be rather depressing when you are put back in the 2-6 year old range having to be dressed by someone else, it really sucked, so watch her closely do not let her get depressed from not being able to dress herself.
Once again I hope a speedy recovery for her.

I am so sorry to hear this! Take all the time you need, we will still be here when you get back. My thoughts are with both you and your wife. My dad had a fall a couple of weeks ago and I know how scary all of that can be.

Yes I have had a few breaks over the years and so feel for my way fe she is on so much pain
I am very sorry 😔 I know what it is like I have lived it with my children the pain is very strong and they can not perform many tasks, the pain is mixed with emotional problems, thank God you have your support I wish you get better soon rest is key in this situation.

I wasn’t even sure that X-ray was of her shoulder I thought it maybe and snapped the photo of it
I guess it must have been as that’s what the dr said it was a subcapital humerus fracture

Of course, you already know how sorry I am to hear about Lulu. She just can't catch a break (although she did, didn't she?) in the past couple of years. I know you are the best caregiver when it comes to her and you are lucky to have each other.
