Wednesday Walk Apponagansett Park

Firstly let me apologize I did not get to visit everyone’s post last week especially those in the last few days it’s been a crazy week for me
For this weeks walk I am sharing a recent visit I did to a small park called Apponagansett Park in Dartmouth MA
Starting with this shot from just after I parked my car here of the boat ramp

This was the first time I visited there and there weren't a few people using the boat ramps to put their boats into the water, clearly it snot just me feeling the cold and I am sure quite a few private boats have bene covered up to protect them over the cooler months and will bring then out again in spring.
Now I titled the post with where i parked, but I try to get steps in on my morning walks and walked from the park to this marshy area by the water the lights are of some shops and a yacht club on the other side of the water

then I walked over the bridge to that side of the water, stopping for this shot not at the time planning for a light trail but a school bus came past as I was taking the long exposure

then walking back another shot over the march and water some subtle sunrise colors appearing

then as I got lighter I walked back over the bridge and got this shot of some boats in a marina there

This park has the Gulf Hill Ice cream shop, which seemed to be closed for the season

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.
I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

Cold weather keeping you in already, early morning walk rewarding with lighting! Wrap up warm, keep the legs pumping finding new spot possibly must visit for ice-cream in the summer season.
It was cold this morning but with a couple of medical things I hadnt bene out for three days so got a walk in this morning was layered up enough and it was fine
Ah nothing beats crisp fresh air to make you feel brighter again. Have a great day.

Great shots! That surprise light trail is probably my favorite, though I am a bit of a sucker for ice cream!

Since it's already dark here at 4:00 p.m., when I'm done with work, I'll walk home and share my evening photos that I'll take.
I just hope it doesn't rain, then walking will be a problem for me.

thanks this morning it was cold at freezing point but i needed a walk to clear my head, I do love light trails just ordered some gadgets to make my own LOL

It is very possible what you say, that people have chosen to take up their boats due to the cold season and return when spring arrives, it is reasonable that there are not many people on the dock
The photographs in the early hours are really beautiful, the golden tones of dawn are promising.

Wow it's a beautiful place, as it seems more attractive in darkness, that ice cream shop seems close but I think it's awesome to eat ice cream in winter too 😁
