Wednesday Walk - Towards the city

in Wednesday Walk11 months ago

We are here with a new Wednesday walk post. I realized that I have been doing my recent walks towards the city center. Usually my walks were towards the mountains. The weather has warmed up and there is no food left on the mountain. So I don't have enough motivation to go to the mountains, to walk in nature.

In fact, the city center is not much different from nature. It's bumpy, it's pretty steep. Lots of greenery and trees. The heavy rain this year has made the environment green. It was around 15:00 when I started the hike, so it was pretty quiet outside. I didn't meet many people on the way.

There is a very old castle in the city center. Excavations have been carried out in the castle for about 15 years. It has been repaired before. As such, the entrance to the castle was prohibited. It was quite enjoyable to watch the city from the top of the castle. The fact that the castle is still not open to visitors is due to incompetence. An excavation should not take that long.

Repair and maintenance works continue in the city center. The shops built on the stream in the city center were demolished. Historic bridges have been restored. Studies still continue. Demolition and repair works have been going on for about two years. I think there is a case of incompetence here.

Onarım bakım işleri şehir merkezinde devam ediyor. Şehir merkezinde, dere üstüne inşaa edilen dükkanlar yıkıldı. Tarihi köprüler restore edildi. Çalışmalar halen devam ediyor. Yaklaşık iki yıldır yıkım, onarım işleri devam ediyor. Sanırım burada bir beceriksizlik durumu var.

There's a week long book fair where I live. I turned my route there. At that time, there was a poetry concert by the poet Ahmet Selçuk İlkan. After listening to him for a while, I went to my house.

Walking one tends to notice more detail as in not repairing parts of the city that were promised. More rain greener terrain, pleasing to the eye!

My motto: No concrete, there is green.

Good motto !LOLZ

I don't know why I can't fit this upside boat on my head
It is clearly capsized.

A shame it is taking so long to repair the castle, seems ridiculously long to me

Surprising and thought provoking. Some cities of the country are like stepchildren!

15 years🤷 unbelievable...
