Hello friends. I am happy to share a new Wednesday Walk post. This post is proof that I hiked, and it's also reason enough for me to engage with friends in this community.
Merhaba dostlar. Yeni bir Wednesday Walk gönderisi paylaşmanın mutluluğunu yaşıyorum. Bu gönderi yürüyüş yaptığımın kanıtı, aynı zamanda bu topluluktaki arkadaşlarla etkileşime geçmem için yeterli bir sebep.
I wanted to take my walk this week on Tatvan beach, which is 20 km away from where I live. It is difficult to walk here at noon in summer. As the weather cools down in autumn, most of the day is suitable for walking. As the weather has cooled, the disturbing smell of the lake has diminished. Normally, the lake is clear, clean and odorless, but due to unhealthy water mixing into the lake, it started to smell. This was evident due to the drought.
Bu haftaki yürüyüşümü yaşadığım yere 20 km mesafede bulunan Tatvan sahilinde yapmak istedim. Yaz mevsiminde öğlen vakti burada yürümek zahmetlidir. Sonbahar mevsiminde havalar serilediği için günün büyük kısmı yürüyüş için elverişlidir. Havalar serinlediği için gölün rahatsız edici kokusu azalmış. Normalde göl, berrak temiz ve kokusuzdur ancak göle karışan sağlıksız sular nedeniyle gol kokmaya başladı. Kuraklık nedeniyle bu iyice ortadaydı.
We can understand how effective drought is from this picture. The lake water has begun to recede.

You may also encounter interesting things on the beach. Like those cute sheep grazing.

Dogs are quite plentiful and can be seen at any time of the day. When he realized I was taking his photo, he closed his eyes. He made such a reflex thinking that I might attack him. Where I live, dogs are not very popular due to sectarian reasons.
Köpekler oldukça bol ve günün her saatinde rastlamak mümkün. Fotoğrafını çektiğimi anlayınca gözlerini kapattı. Ona saldırabileceğimi düşünerek böyle bir reflekste bulundu. Yaşadığım yerde mezhepsel nedenlerle köpekler pek sevilmiyor.
There are places where the smell is low. You can sit in that area, watch the lake and witness the birds fighting for food.

There is a port operation towards the end of the beach. Materials arriving by train from Ankara and Elazığ are transported to the city of Van by ship. From there, sometimes to Iran. The opposite direction is also valid. Cargo coming from Iran to Van is transported to the western parts of the country first by ship and then by train.

There is also a beautiful monument representing ship management in the middle parts of the coast. The beach walk was enjoyable for me. According to Google Fit reports, I took 5915 steps on the beach side, and a total of 10405 steps throughout the day. Taking at least 10000 steps daily is necessary for a healthy life.

What a beautiful place you have chosen to walk, it is a shame that something so beautiful is not cared for as it deserves, it is a crime to dump wastewater there, but hey, it is what it is, that's how those who govern are, they don't care about nature and the environment
