Hey, friends, it is another Wednesday today and it is time to share my walk experience.
Today's walk experience was quite bizarre as I never intended to take a walk but the shortage of cash in the country caused me to.
The proposal to alter the colour of the three highest-denomination notes was unexpectedly announced by the Central Bank of Nigeria, the nation's top financial policy maker, last year. The deadline for updating outdated notes was set for January 31, 2023. The issue is that there aren't many new notes in use yet, and the old notes are still the majority on the street.
Due to a lack of fresh banknotes and the approaching deadline, several banks have declined to fill their ATMs with cash, which has left the general population short on cash. Today, while looking for cash at various ATMs surrounding my institution, I also snapped some incredible pictures.

When I tried the ATM, it disappointed me and said it couldn't issue cash.

There was likewise no cash at the third ATM.

After a lengthy and fruitless search for cash at the ATMs, I decided to use the P.O.S., a local facility for cash withdrawals.
