Hey what's up folks, Usually on my days off and the days I came in late to work I duel visit some museums in the city on their free hours, which is basically 2h before closing. So I decided to change my day off from Monday to Wednesday, since some of them are open from Tuesday.
I especially want to go to the science and technology museum in Alcobendas (it's 1h and 30 min from my house) however the day was a bit boring and I didn't get ready in time to leave and come back early.
So I did other things and visited the Del Prado museum.
Hey qué tal amigos?, Usualmente en mis días libres y los días que entró tarde al trabajo duelo visitar algunos museos de la ciudad en su horario gratuito, que es básicamente 2h antes de cerrar. Así que decidí cambiar mi día libre del lunes al miércoles, ya que algunos de ellos están abiertos a partir del martes.
Especialmente quiero ir al museo de ciencias y tecnología de Alcobendas (está a 1h y 30 min desde mi casa) sin embargo el día fue un poco aburrido y no me aliste a tiempo para salir y regresar temprano.
Por lo cual hice otras cosas y visite el museo Del Prado
My morning started a bit boring, I woke up late with a lot of sleep, the truth was super tired and besides that kratos did not cooperate much and almost made me sleep again on the couch.
Mi mañana comenzó un poco aburrida, me levanté tarde con mucho sueño, la verdad estaba súper cansado y además de eso kratos no colaboró mucho y casi me hace dormir de nuevo en el sofá.
But now we got ready to go out with the cold that was in the morning, although it was sunny the truth is that the cold is considerable. We bundle up and start our first stop, which is a common training day, to the gym for a while (this time I have more time in the gym and I'm very happy for the results).
A little soft routine because we must return early to go to the museum which was the initial plan of the day.
And then it is also to admire the winter landscape, the trees without leaves is something I had never seen before.
Pero ahora sí nos alistamos para salir con el frío que había en la mañana, que aunque hace sol la verdad el frío es considerable. Nos abrigamos muy bien y comenzamos nuestra primera parada, la cual es un día de entrenamiento común, al gym un rato (esta vez tengo más tiempo seguido en el gym y estoy muy alegre por la resultados).
Un poco de rutina suave porque debemos regresar temprano para ir al museo que era el plan inicial del dia.
Y pues también es de admirar el paisaje de invierno, los árboles sin hojas es algo que jamás había visto antes.
Now yes, after breakfast we went to the train station and the truth is that I will never get tired of traveling by train, the truth is that it is a unique and great experience especially when we cross the cities or neighborhoods around them.
Ahora sí, luego de desayunar nos fuimos a la estación del renfe (tren) y la verdad es que jamás me voy a cansar de viajar en tren, la verdad que es una experiencia única y genial sobre todo cuando atravesamos las ciudades o los barrios por sus alrededores.
I walked around Madrid for about 1 or 2 hours while it was time for the free entrance. Of course at dusk it was also cold but very cold, and it was noticeable.
We got to the line and as expected there seemed to be about 200 people, but the truth is that we walked very fast, we entered in 15 min and everything flowed well.
Caminé un poco por Madrid, al rededor de 1 o 2h mientras se hacía la hora para la entrada gratuita. Por su puesto al caer la tarde también hace frío pero mucho, y se hace notar.
Llegamos a la fila y como era de esperar parecía ser de unas 200 personas, pero la verdad camino muy rápido entramos en 15 min y todo fluyó bien.
At first I only knew some works of Goya and Velazquez but there were very interesting Roman style sculptures (Julius Caesar, Marcus Aurelius and other emperors), what I did not like at all but I understand that it is "to preserve the art" was not being able to take pictures, it was completely forbidden. And the truth is that I intended to show my friends at the university that I had seen the work of Goya "Crono devouring your son" or the translation "Saturn devouring his son"
Unfortunately I could only take some pictures from afar and a little hidden, because I respected those laws to some extent.
En principio yo solo conocía algunas obras de Goya y Velázquez pero habían esculturas del estilo romano muy interesantes (Julio César, Marco Aurelio y otros emperadores), lo que no me gustó para nada pero entiendo que es "para preservar el arte" fue el no poder tomar fotografías, estaba completamente prohibido. Y la verdad es que yo tenía intención de mostrarle a mis amigos de la universidad que había visto la obra de Goya "Crono devorando a tu hijo" o la traducción "Saturno devorando a su hijo"
Lastimosamente solo pude tomar algunas fotografías de lejos y un poco escondido, porque respete en cierta parte esas leyes.
It was already dark by the time I left the museum, because my tour lasted 1h and 40min and I had to go back, but I wanted to walk along the main street to take some pictures and they were great.
Ya era de noche al momento de salir del museo, porque mi recorrido fue de 1h y 40min y ya debía regresar sin embargo quise caminar por la gran vía para tomar algunas fotos y quedaron geniales.
To end my day with a small hamburger that was delicious.
Para finalizar mi día con una pequeña hamburguesa que me quedo buenísima.

Oye pero esa gente haciendo cola debajo de la lluvia ¿era para entrar gratis al museo? si es así, cuánto tardaste en entrar? 😱
Normal que estés cansado con flojera de salir si es tu día libre, imagino que el cansancio de la semana no deja de pesar, pero sí, viajar en tren siempre vale la pena. Las fotos de la gra nvía están geniales, lo de no poder hacer fotos en el museo, curioso pero común...uno llevándose decepciones jajaja
Ojalá que puedas conocer el otro museo, en Madrid hay lugares espectaculares por doquier.
Si tal cual habian 200 personas esperando para entrar y la verdad la cola avanzaba super rápido, tarde entre 15 y 20 minutos. El museo es increíble pero una lástima lo de las fotos, si tan solo fuera como el templo de debob que te dejan pero sin flash sería genial.
